Multi-Functional Doorway Exercise Device
A multi-functional doorway exercise device is an apparatus that safely and securely attaches to a door frame. The apparatus includes a stabilizing bar, a main pullup bar, a first support bar, a second support bar, a left bracket assembly, a right bracket assembly, a left handlebar, and a right handlebar. The stabilizing bar extends across the width of a door frame and locks into the door frame. The main pullup bar, the left handlebar, and the right handlebar allows a user to grasp onto the present invention while performing various exercises with different grip positions. The left bracket assembly and the right bracket assembly attaches the stabilizing bar onto and along both sides of the door frame. The first support bar and the second support bar connect the main pullup bar with the stabilizing bar and allows the main pullup bar to rotate about the stabilizing bar.
Systems and methods for coordinating musculoskeletal and cardiovascular or cerebrovascular hemodynamics
Described herein are systems and methods of guiding a user to achieve musculoskeletal counterpulsation. A method may include receiving a cardiovascular cycle signal from a first sensor; determining a heart rate of the user based on the cardiovascular cycle signal; receiving a rhythmic musculoskeletal activity timing signal from a second sensor; determining an actual musculoskeletal activity cycle (MSKC) to cardiovascular cycle (CC) timing relationship; comparing the actual MSKC to CC timing relationship to a target MSKC to CC timing relationship; providing a recurrent prompt to the user as a timing indication for performance of a rhythmic musculoskeletal activity to guide the user to achieve a musculoskeletal activity cycle rate (MSKR) that approaches the target MSKC to CC timing relationship; and altering a feature of the recurrent prompt based on a determined alignment between the actual MSKC to CC timing relationship and the target MSKC to CC timing relationship.
Track exercise device
A track exercise device with at least first and second substantially parallel tracks, and first, second, third, and fourth movable platforms. The first and third movable platforms are movable on the first track, and the second and fourth movable platforms are movable on the second track. Transverse attachments selectively and respectively attach the first and second movable platforms together on the first and second tracks and the third and fourth movable platforms together on the first and second tracks. Longitudinal attachments selectively and respectively attach the first and third movable platforms together on the first track and the second and fourth movable platforms together on the second track. A tilting adjustment selectively provides for inclined or flat movement of the first, second, third, and fourth movable platforms.
Multi-purpose adjustable-incline climbing wall
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an adjustable-incline climbing wall. The climbing wall includes one or more climbing panels supported by a frame and a system for adjusting the incline of the frame to provide a climbing wall of a desired incline. The incline of the climbing wall may be adjusted by activating an actuator, which extends the upper portion of the frame a distance from a support wall, tilting the climbing wall to a desired incline. When the climbing wall is substantially vertically oriented, the system for adjusting the incline of the climbing wall may extend only a small distance from the support wall so that the adjustable-incline climbing wall has a relatively small footprint. In some embodiments, the climbing wall may also include one or more fitness accessories that can be brought to an optimal height for a particular user through adjustment of the climbing wall incline.
TRAINING APPARATUS
A training apparatus has exercise equipment mounted to a side surface or a roof of a land vehicle or for mounting to a surface such as a wall of a building or ship. The exercise equipment includes a support structure which is attached to the surface or roof. In some embodiments the support structure is maneuverable by pivoting with respect to the surface or roof, whilst remaining attached thereto, between a stowed condition and an exercising condition.
Garment system including at least one sensor and at least one actuator responsive to the sensor and related methods
Embodiments disclosed herein relate to a garment system including at least one sensor and at least one actuator that operates responsive to sensing feedback from the at least one sensor to cause a flexible compression garment to selectively constrict or selectively dilate, thereby compressing or relieving compression against at least one body part of a subject. Such selective constriction or dilation can improve muscle functioning or joint functioning during use of motion-conducive equipment, such as an exercise bike or rowing machine.
Sliding grip resistance exercise device
A multi-functional sliding grip exercise device, specifically but not limited to: sliding grip medial pull-ups, sliding grip lateral pull-ups, lower back extension/sit-up assistance exercise. Exercise device will have rotatable rubber pegs attached to horizontal bars to aid in utility. Horizontal bars supporting hand grips will have apertures on its frame; apertures will take on the form of a “T” with arms going vertically down to engage device locking system. Horizontal bar with apertures will have tracks on top surface and bottom surface to support guidance of Hand grips. Horizontal bar with apertures will have a resistance element housed within, preferably but not limited to springs; also housed within bar will be spring caps with an protuberance attached that will make contact with Handgrips appendage to engage springs. Handgrips may have indentations to support lower back bar for lower back extension/sit-up assistance exercise. Device may have adjustable resistance.
RESISTANCE BAND ASSEMBLY
A adjustable resistance band assembly for providing resistive force during the performance of an exercise. The adjustable resistance band assembly includes a first end, a second end, and a longitudinal axis extending therebetween. First and second resilient members are provided. An adjustment assembly enables a user to selectively engage the first or first and second resilient members to adjust the resistive force provided for performance of an exercise.
Pull up system and bar locking fastener therefor
A pull up system including a bar member a support assembly. The bar member is coupled to the support assembly and the support assembly is attachable to an outside surface. A bar locking fastener is likewise disclosed, as is a support assembly for a pull up system.
Torque pull-up bar assembly
The disclosure provided herein is directed to a torque pull-up bar having a torque assembly positioned over a pull-up bar that is configured to selectively limit the rotation of a pull-up bar between a static position and freewheeling. In a strong resistance configuration and a weak configuration, the pull-up bar is capable of a limited rotation due to a resistance member that is biased to return to a natural state. Through selective engagement of the resistance member with the pull-up bar, the degree of rotation is modified.
