A foldable exercise device with a chin-up exercise apparatus and a dip exercise apparatus suspendable from the chin-up exercise apparatus. The chin-up exercise apparatus has a top horizontal member and a bottom horizontal member connected by two connecting members. Each connecting member has a door header hook and a parallel chin-up handle that rotate on the connecting member from a flat configuration to an exercise configuration. In the exercise configuration the chin-up exercise apparatus can engage a door frame. In the exercise configuration the parallel chin-up handles can be used for neutral chin-ups. The dip exercise apparatus has two vertical members spaced apart by a horizontal connecting member. The vertical members have a bottom end with a bottom grip. The bottom grip can be rotated from a flat configuration to an exercise configuration. In the exercise configuration the bottom grips can be used to do dip exercises.

PIVOTING/TILTING MULTIFUNCTIONAL COLLAPSIBLE FITNESS SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED SOFTWARE
20230173321 · 2023-06-08 ·

A multifunctional fitness system may allow for high-resistance exercises through the distribution of weight upon a frame pivoting on the ground. In particular implementations, while a user lifts one end of the frame, the opposite end pivots. The weight of another person (and/or that of conventional weighted plates) can be placed on the frame in locations yielding the desired leverage and, thus, resistance felt by the lifter. The frame may have various axes upon which it can pivot and grip points, thus offering a broad range of exercises that can be conducted. Reorienting the frame to be resting on differing sides results in additional feasible exercises. Optional integrated electronics (typically in conjunction with existing smart devices) may use kinematics and/or structural flexing to calculate felt resistance and provide automated instruction to the various users. The may also collapse into a compact, rollable configuration for easy transport.

Wobbly ball
09795838 · 2017-10-24 ·

The present invention relates to wobbly balls and exercise coil springs. A wobbly ball may include a non-spherical rigid, hollow ball body formed of two halves, each half comprising an upper ladle or a lower ladle which are welded together along a central seam therebetween, and defining a hollow cavity therein. A spherical inner ball is captured within the hollow cavity of the hollow ball body of the wobbly ball, so that upon movement of the wobbly ball, the inner ball rolls within the cavity, producing a wobbly, eccentric motion. The exercise coil spring may be formed of a single coiled wire, the coiled spring including a central portion where the coiled wire is coiled to a first diameter that is constant. Opposed flared ends are provided ends of the central portion where the coiled wire is progressively coiled from the first diameter to a second diameter, which is greater.

FULL BODY EXERCISE APPARATUS

A portable exercise apparatus utilized for exercising, stretching, and training multiple muscle groups of the body of a user. The apparatus is adapted to be worn about the waist or carried as a bandolier about the user's body. The apparatus has at least one releasably closable pocket and fixation rings for securing and carrying accessories, such as attachable handles, suspension lines, and elastic bands. The apparatus and methods of use provide the user with a plurality of configurations for assisted exercise regimens and the flexibility to exercise anywhere.

Systems and methods for coordinating musculoskeletal and cardiovascular or cerebrovascular hemodynamics

Described herein are methods for determining a target musculoskeletal activity cycle (MSKC) to cardiac cycle (CC) timing relationship. The method may include detecting a signal responsive to a cyclically-varying arterial blood flow at a location on a head of a user; providing a recurrent prompt at a frequency of the heart pump cycle using the signal, such that the signal correlates with a magnitude of blood flow adjacent to the location, and the recurrent prompt is provided to guide the user to time performance of a component of a rhythmic musculoskeletal activity with the recurrent prompt; and guiding the user to adjust a timing of the component of the rhythmic musculoskeletal activity to substantially maximize a magnitude of the signal. In some embodiments, the method further includes generating the recurrent prompt by amplifying the sound generated by the blood flow in or in proximity to an ear of the user.

Exercise bar mounted on door frame
09789358 · 2017-10-17 ·

The present invention relates to an exercise bar mounted on a door frame, and to an exercise bar mounted on a door frame capable of preventing a user's face or head from hitting an edge part of an upper end of the door frame when a user bends her or his arms to pull her or his upper body upward and hang her or his chin on a horizontal rod during an exercise such as a chin-up, and in which a height of a pipe member installed at the door frame can be adjusted according to a height of the user.

Rebound and balance training device
09776030 · 2017-10-03 ·

A rebound and balance training device includes a frame, a footboard, and a plurality of resilient spring elements extending between and attached to the frame and the footboard to support the footboard above a supporting surface. A user standing on the footboard manually effects repeated vertical bouncing movement between upper and lower positions. The distance traveled by the footboard, the effort required to effect movement, and the stability thereof may be modified by selectively modifying the number, the length, the position, or the elasticity of the resilient elements. In one embodiment, a pair of footboards is employed to simulate skiing movements.

Fitness Machine

A system and method of using an exercise system having a resistance structure of handles connected to cables, which cables are connected to at least one pneumatic cylinder that creates resistance, wherein the resistance is adjusted by the user via actuators in the handles, so that the user does not need to release the handles to adjust the resistance. The system is typically supported by a frame to surround the user, and the pneumatic cylinder may be connected to an equalizing tank that may be housed within or integrated into the frame. The system may include a monitor to visually display system parameters and other information to the user. The system may calculate resistance and work done by the user by measuring piston displacement and speed, as well as using accelerometers or other devices integrated into the handles.
