OUTDOOR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
An outdoor exercise apparatus is configured to mount and dis-mount from a tree or like structure. These configurations may comprise a collapsible frame with members that can support hanging weight. A strap wraps around the tree to help secure the frame to the tree. In use, the frame and strap create a cantilevered weighting mechanism that secures the apparatus in position in lieu of end user intervention. The device is further arranged to transit between different positions on the tree without end use intervention as well.
Exercise system and method
An exercise machine includes a processor, a first display, a deck, and a belt rotatable about the deck. The machine also includes a sensor operably connected to the processor and configured to detect a first performance parameter of a first user running on the belt of the exercise machine. The processor is configured to receive information indicative of a second performance parameter of a second user, the second performance parameter being detected at an additional exercise machine during display of the at least part of the exercise class on a display associated with the additional exercise machine. The processor is also configured to cause the second performance parameter to be displayed on the first display together with the first performance parameter.
DIP APPARATUS, METHODS, AND SYSTEMS
An exercise system may include a dip apparatus having gripping bars for a user to grip and one or more resistance bands releasably attachable to the dip apparatus below the gripping bars to assist the user when performing a dip exercise by providing an upward force counteracting at least a portion of the user's weight. To this end, the dip apparatus may include support bars disposed below the gripping bars, where the support bars are structurally configured to engage with one or more resistance bands. More particularly, each of the support bars may include couplers that have a portion structurally configured to receive a resistance band, which may be formed as a continuous loop.
Exercise apparatus having a stair and slide assembly
A stair and slide assembly includes a stair portion including a plurality of stairs, a slide portion including a slide with an entrance and an exit, and an assist bar positioned proximate the exit of the slide to assist a user with pivoting from the exit of the slide to the stair portion. The slide has a first portion extending substantially linearly from the entrance of the slide at an angle and a second portion extending from the first portion to the exit of the slide. The second portion transitions the slide from the angle of the first portion to substantially horizontal. The exit of the slide is configured to be positioned at a target height above a ground surface. The target height is between about 18 inches and about 30 inches.
Dual and solo exercise apparatus
A modular exercise apparatus includes a pair of vertical frame members secured in spaced-apart relation by two or more internally threaded cross bars the ends of which are fitted with L-shaped mounting brackets that are manually secured by threaded mounting bolts passing through opposing aligned apertures in the frame members and into the threaded ends of the cross bars, the frame members further stabilized by at least one flanged U-shaped supporting member secured to a base member of the frame members by a threaded mounting bolt, enabling the apparatus to be assembled without the use of tools to form a variable, stable configuration that allows one or two users to execute a wide variety of vigorous exercises, and disassembled for compact storage. For solo use, the frame members are reduced in length and weight facilitating ease of movement of the assembled unit, as well as the disposition for storage.
MULTI-PURPOSE EXERCISE DEVICE
In one example, an exercise apparatus comprises: a shaft; a roller wheel mounted on and rotatable around the shaft; a first pair of gripping members formed on two opposite ends of the shaft; a second pair of gripping members, each of the second pair of gripping members being formed on the shaft between one of the first pair of gripping members and the roller wheel; and a wall-mounting device connected to the shaft, the wall-mounting device being configured to be mounted on a wall above a top portion of a door frame to suspend the second pair of gripping members and the roller wheel in a space below the top portion of the door frame while the first pair of gripping members is in contact with two side portions of the door frame.
DOOR JAMB EXERCISE SYSTEM
The door jamb exercise support member includes an elongated shaft having at least one planar surface, a pair of couplers associated therewith having a size and shape for select engagement with a respective pair of screws that cooperate to flush mount the at least one planar surface to a door jamb, a receiving channel formed from the elongated shaft having a size and shape for select slide-in reception of a bracket, and a pair of concentric locking apertures formed from opposing sides of the elongated shaft and generally aligned with the receiving channel. Upon select insertion of the bracket into the receiving channel, a retaining aperture generally concentrically aligns with each of the pair of concentric locking apertures for select slide-through reception of a locking pin substantially retaining the bracket within the receiving channel by simultaneously engaging the retaining aperture in the bracket and the pair of concentric locking apertures.
Motor-driven variable weight exercise device with modular chassis body
The invention herein relates to a variable weight exercise machine comprising a motor driven carriage assembly that moves along a linear path creating a variable resistant force against which the user exerts an opposite force. The chassis body and frame of said device may be positioned horizontally or vertically, and having a design that can be modularly configured in coordination with accessory elements to achieve a variety of concentric or eccentric exercise movements.
EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A deck for a treadmill includes a continuous track, and a plurality of slats connected to the track. The track and the plurality of slats at least partly define an inner space of the deck, and are rotatable about the inner space. The deck also includes a first motor configured to modify a speed of rotation of the track, and a second motor configured to modify a position of the deck relative to a support surface on which the deck is supported. The first motor and the second motor are disposed within the inner space.
Handrail configuration for a treadmill
A handrail assembly for a treadmill is provided. The handrail assembly includes: a base having a first side and a second side; a first portion extending from the first side of the base; a second portion extending from the second side of the base; and a member coupled to the first portion and the second portion, the member including at least one lower section and at least one upper section. The base defines at least one compartment. At least a part of the member is configured to receive a pushing force from a user during use of the treadmill.
