Modular Fitness System and Methods of Use
A modular fitness system and associated methods of use are disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the system provides a plurality of elongate weighted segments, and a plurality of handle links sized and configured for accommodating a hand of a user. The segments and handle links are removably engagable with one another in series so as to form an exercise structure. Thus, the user is capable of selectively engaging at least one of the segments having a desired weight with at least one of the handle links in order to form an appropriate configuration of the exercise structure for performing one or more desired exercises therewith.
JOINT FOR REHABILITATION DEVICE
A joint for a rehabilitation device and a rehabilitation device are disclosed. The joint is defined for operation between an end of a first member and an end of a second member. The joint enables the second member to pivot at the joint with respect to the first member. The joint includes a positioning mechanism for defining a set position from which the second member pivots. The joint also includes a restriction mechanism for restricting the degree of pivoting of the second member, from the set position. The joint further includes a biasing mechanism for biasing the second member such that it returns to the set position when an opposing force applied to the second member is less than the bias of the biasing mechanism. When the joint is in the set position, the biasing mechanism is configured such that no bias is applied to the second member.
Method and device for acquiring stream of the precisely time-stamped images
Method and device for acquiring stream of the precisely time-stamped images, including the modulated light source, controlled by the absolute global real-time-base (e.g. provided by global navigation satellite system (GNSS) controller) and the image acquisition and processing unit, decoding the light modulation waveform and determining the time-stamp for every image frame. The GNSS time and position messages can be used to provide the full time- and location stamps for each frame. Multi-element light sources can be used to have more informative light modulation in the time domain. For time-stamping of several image streams (e.g. from several cameras) multiple light sources with the same modulation can be used.
Anchored resistance exercise device with sensor
An exercise system comprises an anchor and at least one extendible tether extending from a mooring on the anchor to a grip end. Each extendible tether is longitudinally movable between an extended configuration and a retracted configuration. At least one sensor alignment arm is movably coupled to the anchor, and a sensor is associated with each sensor alignment arm and extendible tether. The sensor alignment arm carries a first sensor element and the extendible tether carries a second sensor element. Each extendible tether is longitudinally movable relative to its sensor alignment arm and angular movement of the extendible tether relative to the anchor moves the sensor alignment arm to maintain longitudinal alignment between the first sensor element and the second sensor element. The sensor detects movement of the second sensor element past the first sensor element as the extendible tether moves between the extended configuration and the retracted configuration.
EXERCISE DEVICE FOR SUSPENDED BODY WEIGHT TRAINING
A pulley system of an exercise device for suspended weight training includes a first block with a first pulley, a second pulley, and a first attachment point. A second block is removably coupled to a weight and includes a third pulley and a second attachment point. A grip is configured to be held by a user while exercising and has a third attachment point. A line having a first line end is fixedly coupled to the grip and a second line end fixedly is coupled to a connection element. The connection element is configured to be selectively coupled to each of the first attachment point, the second attachment point, and the third attachment point, permits a user to reduce an effective amount of the weight lifted by the user with movement of the grip to a pre-selected fraction of the weight.
Resistance training device
A resistance training device for hands-free exercising of the back and shoulders includes a frame. A bench is coupled to the frame and is configured to seat a user. A backrest is coupled to the frame proximate to a rear edge of the bench. A pair of arms is pivotally coupled singly to opposing side supports of the frame. A resistor is operationally coupled to the pair of arms. The arms are positioned on the frame such that the arms are configured to abut elbows of the user seated on the bench. The resistor is positioned to resist the user's effort to pivot the arms relative to the frame, thus exercising the back and shoulders of the user without use of the user's hands.
Exercise machine having elastic exercise resistance cables
There is provided an exercise machine. The machine includes an upright mounting assembly having a top and a bottom spaced-apart from the top. The machine includes a seat operatively connected to the mounting assembly. The machine includes a first pair of space-apart pulley assemblies rotatably mounted adjacent to the top of the mounting assembly. The machine includes a second pair of spaced-apart pulley assemblies rotatably mounted adjacent to the bottom of the mounting assembly. The machine includes a plurality of exercise resistance cables connected at proximal end portions to the mounting assembly and extending around and outward from the pulley assemblies.
Multi-purpose exercise bench with versatile resistance accessory
A multi-purpose exercise bench having a versatile resistance accessory configurable for use to provide weight-training resistance in a variety of exercises is provided. The multi-purpose exercise bench comprises: an elongated frame configured to rest on a flat floor in a stable manner; a lower seat portion supported on the frame; the resistance accessory mounted to the frame, the resistance accessory comprising: a pad movably mounted to the frame to be movable between a first position and a second position; a locking mechanism operable to lock the pad in either of the first position and the second position; and a plurality of resistance bands attached to the pad. A multi-purpose exercise system includes the multi-purpose exercise bench and an exercise bar defining at least one groove dimensioned to receive at least one receiver ring attached to at least one of the resistance bands.
SHOULDER MOTION EXERCISE DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
