A second portion of the cabinet is configured to house a computer screen display. A third portion of the cabinet is configured to house at least one camera, one or more processors, and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the cabinet to present a display on the computer screen display housed in the second portion of the cabinet. A fourth portion of the cabinet is configured to removably house at least one barbell and a plurality of dumbbells. A fifth portion of the cabinet comprises four legs of the cabinet that allow the cabinet to stand upright without additional support.
INTERACTIVE EXERCISE APPARATUS FOR GUIDING PHYSICAL EXERCISES
An interactive exercise apparatus for guiding a user to perform an exercise includes a display device and a detecting device. The display device is configured to display video imagery which shows an instructor image and at least one motion check image. The motion check image corresponds to a predetermined one of a plurality of body parts of the user, which has a motion guide track and a motion achievement evaluation. The detecting device is configured to detect displacement of the body parts. The motion guide track is displayed on a predetermined position of the video imagery with a predetermined track pattern, corresponding to a movement path of the predetermined body part when the user follows movements demonstrated by the instructor image to perform the exercise. The motion achievement evaluation indicates a matching degree determined according to the displacement of the predetermined body part detected by the detecting device.
MEASURING DEVICE AND MEASURING METHOD FOR PEDAL PLANE ANGLE OF BICYCLE
A measuring device for a pedal plane angle of a bicycle includes a pedal body, an angle sensing unit and a central processing unit (CPU). The angle sensing unit is disposed in an accommodating chamber of the pedal body, and senses an angle of the pedal body to send an angle sensing signal. The CPU analyzes the angle sensing signal to obtain angle data of the pedal body relative to an angle of a reference plane to accordingly learn an angle relationship between the pedal body and the reference plane. The angle relationship may coordinate with other sensing units, for example, data of a pedaling force sensing unit to mutually correct and analyze the data, so as to obtain correct pedaling force information. With the angle data, whether a pedaling angle of a rider is correct can be learned to prevent sports injuries caused by incorrect pedaling angles.
APPARATUS HAVING GESTURE SENSOR
An apparatus having a gesture sensor is provided. The gesture sensor includes an image sensing unit and a processing unit. The image sensing unit can capture at least a gesture image of user. The processing unit is electrically connected to the image sensing unit. The processing unit can send at least a control command according to the gesture image to operate the apparatus.
System and method for identifying and correcting muscular and skeletal disbalances through exercise
A method for identifying and correcting muscular and skeletal disbalances through exercise includes recording, by a processor, using at least one sensor coupled to the processor, an exercise motion performed by a user, identifying, by the processor, a motion deficiency of the user based on the detected exercise motion, formulating, by the processor, a corrective motion based on the detected motion deficiency, and providing, by the processor, the corrective motion to the user, which also includes identifying motion deficiencies as far as range of motion, balance, symmetry, smoothness, strength, stamina and other motion characteristics, formulating corrective exercise program that involves multiple training machines, formulating exercises in terms of number of repetitions, cadence (frequency) or motion, range of motion, added resistance levels, communicating the corrective exercise program via the screen embedded on each machine, and guiding the user through each exercise, directing user to change exercise machines.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING CARDIO MACHINE CAPABILITIES BY DYNAMICALLY ADAPTING WORKOUTS TO AN ATHLETE
Systems and methods are described for personalizing a fitness or workout plan based on an athletes past performance. In some aspects, performance metrics from at least two workout sessions performed by a user using exercise equipment, may be obtained, where each workout session includes a plurality of intervals corresponding to one of a number of different intensity levels. The performance metrics over a subset of the intervals may be compared with a prescribed performance of the corresponding interval to generate interval comparisons. Using the interval comparisons, at least one of a length or an intensity level of at least one interval of a future workout session may be modified.
BASKETBALL TRAINING APPARATUS FOR IMPROVING BASKETBALL SHOT MAKING AND A METHOD THEREOF
A basketball training apparatus and a method for improving basketball shot making are disclosed. The basketball training apparatus includes a horizontal bar column, one or more brackets and a processing system. The horizontal bar column is configured to be mounted on a vertical structure and includes a plurality of longitudinal members. The one or more brackets are configured to be mounted on the vertical structure for horizontally adjoining the plurality of longitudinal members of the horizontal bar column together. The horizontal bar column is mounted onto the vertical structure using one or more brackets such that an optimum angle trajectory is created for an apex shot. The processing system operates an interactive device connected with the horizontal bar column. The interactive device is configured to track shot data associated with one or more shots performed by a player practicing on the basketball training apparatus.
Smart soccer goal
A smart soccer goal for tracking and communicating motion of objects includes a goal frame; a net coupled to the goal frame including a plurality of lights; and one or more sensors coupled to the goal frame. A first sensor of the one or more sensors is directed to detecting movement within and immediately near the smart soccer goal and a second sensor of the one or more sensors is directed to detecting movement outside of the smart soccer goal.
Method and system for athletic motion analysis and instruction
A system and method for analyzing and improving the performance of a body motion of an animal or human subject requires instrumenting a subject with inertial sensors, monitoring a body motion of interest, converting sensor data into motion data and animation, comparing the motion data with existing data for motion related performance parameters, providing a real-time, information rich, animation and data display of the results in color coded displays; and based on the results prescribing a training regime with exercises selected from a library of standardized exercises using standardized tools and training aids.
