A representative embodiment of a lighting system includes a carrying bag having a first opening with a control panel cover; a mounting bracket arranged in the carrying bag; a power supply coupled to or arranged on the mounting bracket; a control panel arranged within the first opening and coupled to the mounting bracket; a first flexible light strip; a second flexible light strip; and a power cable coupleable within the carrying bag to the control panel, the first flexible light strip, and the second flexible light strip. The first and second flexible light strips are coupleable to the power cable to receive DC power from the control panel, and may be extended throughout a structure, such as a tent, using a plurality of hangers. In a representative embodiment, the first flexible light strip provides white light and the second flexible light strip provides blackout light.

An illuminating container is provided. The illuminating container allows inspection of the contents of an opaque body to provide a desirable and pleasant illumination of the contents within the container. Typically, the illumination may be triggered automatically by a sensor, though in other embodiments may be triggered by a manual switch.

A magnetic switch component operatively connects a plurality of light emitting diode lights to a power source when the purse is opened. A lighting system comprises a first and a second lighting strip configured as mirror images of each other. Each lighting strip has a magnet and a magnetic switch that operatively connects a plurality of light emitting diode lights to a power source when the purse is opened. The magnet of the first lighting strip is configured to engage the magnetic switch of the second lighting strip and vice versa. A purse with an internal lighting system comprises a purse and a light strip attachable to the inside of the purse.

A lighting device for use within a purse or similar container. The lighting device comprises a light strip attachable to the inside of the purse. A magnetic switch component operatively connects a plurality of light emitting diode lights to a power source when the purse is opened. A lighting system comprises a first and a second lighting strip configured as mirror images of each other. Each lighting strip has a magnet and a magnetic switch that operatively connects a plurality of light emitting diode lights to a power source when the purse is opened. The magnet of the first lighting strip is configured to engage the magnetic switch of the second lighting strip and vice versa. The independent carriers may have associated panels from which the carriers selectively detach. The panels may also be separable from the case. The system and case may be portable.

The safety lighting system solves the problem of working in low-visibility situations by providing enhanced 360-degree visibility of a worker and his equipment to passing vehicles and pedestrians. The safety lighting system works in combination with a piece of maintenance equipment, a power tool, a battery pack, or a maintenance backpack. The safety lighting system illuminates the operator, the tool, and a surrounding area when the tool or piece of equipment is in use. Such a system allows a passerby to see the operator even in substandard light conditions.

An illuminated purse assembly includes a purse for carrying objects. A set of first light emitters is each positioned within an interior of the purse to illuminate the interior of the purse. A set of second light emitters is each positioned within an interior of the purse to illuminate the interior of the purse. A light sensor is positioned within the purse to sense light when the purse is opened. The light sensor turns on each of the first and second light emitters when the light sensor senses light. An electronic timer is coupled to the purse and the electronic timer counts down an operation duration of time when the light sensor senses light. Each of the first and second light emitters is turned off when the operation duration of time elapses.
