The present invention relates to a bag with built-in lighting system for illuminating items kept inside the bag. The bag is comprised of motion sensors that detect if the user opens the bag, and accordingly activates the lighting unit placed inside the interior of the bag. Also, the light is automatically turned OFF when the bag is closed. The bag integrated with lighting system allows users to clearly view any item placed inside the bag and eliminates the difficulty of trying to find items in bag under low-light or no-light conditions. Additionally, the lighting system can be integrated into any type of bag including purses, handbags, briefcases, or the like.

The present invention is an improved recreational carrier combination such as a backpack and inflatable mattress that may be used on camping, hiking, or other recreational trips. The backpack and inflatable mattress includes one or more internal compartments for storing clothing, food, and other items. In addition, the backpack has a portable inflatable air mattress and air compressor or pump for filling the portable air mattress. The backpack further includes a rechargeable battery that may be externally charged, or alternatively, it can be charged by built-in solar panels. In one embodiment there is provided a portable lighting assembly that includes a travel case and a lighting assembly. The lighting assembly is mounted to a bottom of the travel case and includes a telescopic support rod. A lighting device is secured to the rod and has a lamp. The lighting device is configured to plug into a power supply.
