A pressure regulator includes a pronged piston positioned inside an internal chamber, such that the pronged piston moves longitudinally along the axis of the internal chamber in response to the pressures exerted on the piston by a liquid flowing through the regulator. The piston has a first disk and a second disk connected by a number of prongs. The second disk is configured to seal the inlet port of the pressure regulator when the piston is in a closed position and the number or prongs act as guides for the piston as it slides within the internal chamber.

A charge valve assembly for an air conditioning system includes a valve housing having a first end, a second end, and an inner surface defining a cavity. A valve core assembly is received in the cavity of the valve housing through the second end of the valve housing. The valve core assembly has a first end, a second end, a flow channel extending from the first end of the valve core assembly to the second end of the valve core assembly, an inner sealing surface, and a pin slideably received in the flow channel between an open position and a closed position. The pin has a primary seal selectively engaging the inner sealing surface of the valve core assembly and closing the flow channel at the second end of the valve core assembly when in the closed position. The pin biases towards the first end of the valve housing.

Tank pressure control solenoid with passive tank vacuum

A valve assembly providing flow control between a fuel tank and a carbon canister, which includes two valves providing two different flow paths, where the first valve provides active vacuum relief along the first flow path, and the second valve provides passive vacuum relief along the second flow path. A reservoir is added to the cap which is common for both flow paths. The second valve has a sealing valve member and a biasable member that passively relieves fuel tank vacuum pressure at a predetermined vacuum level.

Overpressure valve in the form of a check valve

The invention relates to an overpressure valve (1) which is in the form of a one-way valve or a check valve and which includes a pot-shaped housing (2) with a base (3) and central opening (4) and which also has a valve seat (6) which interacts with a spring-loaded closing body (7). A guide sleeve (9) is inserted with a force fit or form fit into the housing (2) for the purpose of receiving a compression spring (8) which exerts a load on the closing body (7), which guide sleeve simultaneously ensures a construction of the overpressure valve (1) which is secured against falling apart.
