DISCONNECTABLE SUBSEA CONNECTOR
The described embodiments provide a subsea connector that is a quickly deployable and reusable. The subsea connector comprises a male and a female assembly that can be connected and disconnected. The male assembly includes a shaft, a sleeve that surrounds the shaft, and bars that are connected to the shaft and are configured to rotate about one axis. The female assembly includes a receptacle into Which the male assembly can fit. Once the male assembly is inserted into the female assembly, the bars can rotate into such a position that the male and female assemblies are connected together. The bars can also be rotated such that the male and female assemblies can be disconnected.
Connection system
A connection system includes a shaft, a hollow shaft, a press ring, a first ring fitted onto the hollow shaft, a second ring, a bearing, and a housing part. The hollow shaft is rotatably mounted via the bearing received in the housing part and has an inner conical region. The first ring has a first outer conical region and a second outer conical region. The first outer conical region is positioned against the inner conical region of the hollow shaft and/or at least a partial region of the first outer conical region is arranged radially between the shaft and the hollow shaft. The second ring encloses and/or surrounds the first ring. The press ring touches both a partial region of the radially outer surface of the hollow shaft and at least one partial region of the radially outer surface of the second ring and/or is mounted onto these partial regions.
Device for compensating for tolerances between two components to be connected to one another
A device for compensating for tolerances between two components to be connected to one another where the device may have a base element a compensating element. The compensating element may prior to assembly with a thread play be in threaded engagement with a first component, and into which the base element can be inserted. The device may also have a connecting element which can be inserted through the base element to connect the two components. During assembly, the connecting element may come into engagement with the base element and the base element may engage in a force-fitting manner, in particular by frictional engagement or in a form-fitting manner, into the compensating element in such a manner that the compensating element enters into play-free, play-reduced and/or self-locking engagement with the first component.
