Holding apparatus and method for use with portable electronic devices utilizing a strip apparatus
A holding apparatus and method may be used to secure and support a portable electronic device. The apparatus has a base plate that fits along the back surface of a portable electronic device. The base plate has top and bottom base plate surfaces. The apparatus has a strip that fits along the top base plate surface. The apparatus has a frame on the top base plate surface. The frame defines an aperture. The apparatus has pins and recesses that form hinged connections and secure the strip to the base plate. The strip is moveable between engaged and disengaged positions within the aperture.
Electronics enclosure
An enclosure comprises a bottom container and first and second shelves hingedly connected to the enclosure. The first shelf is movable between a storage position in which its shelf receiving portion is positioned entirely within the bottom container and an in-use position in which its receiving portion at least partially extends beyond a first corresponding wall of the bottom container. The second shelf is movable between a storage position in which its receiving portion is positioned entirely within the bottom container and an in-use position in which its receiving portion at least partially extends beyond a second corresponding wall of the bottom container. When the first and second shelves are in their respective storage positions, the receiving portions of the first and second shelves are positioned in a stacked arrangement such that the second shelf receiving portion is higher than the first shelf receiving portion within the bottom container.
Catheter storage assembly
A catheter storage assembly includes a case that is positionable in an open position such that the case forms a table. The case has a first half that is hingedly coupled to a second half. A plurality of pockets is each coupled to the case and each of the pockets has an open end for receiving objects commonly employed for catheterization. A plurality of first legs and a plurality of second legs are each pivotally coupled to the case. Each of the first legs and the second legs is positionable in a deployed position to support the case above a support surface when the case is opened to form the table. A plurality of closures is each coupled to the first half of the case for retaining the case in a closed position.
Protective case with a deployable stand
A case to protect and to support a device at various viewing angles is disclosed. The case comprises a recess on a backside to house a stand assembly, which transitions between a collapsed configuration and a plurality of deployed configurations. The base of the recess comprises a flexible island with a slit gap encircling a majority of its circumference. The stand assembly can be secured at a plurality of locations via tension between its sliding member and the island. A plurality of receiving slots can be configured onto the top surface of the island to further enhance stability. The stand assembly encompasses a range of operation between 0 to 175+ degrees from a completely collapsed to a fully extended configuration.
Work Structure for Use with Modular Storage System
One or more devices are provided that are configured to detachably engage within a modular system. The one or more devices are expandable to provide a surface to perform work.
PROTECTIVE CASE FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A protective case for a mobile electronic device is disclosed herein. The protective case includes a front portion and a back portion that is configured to slide into a side of the front portion to effectuate the sealing and closure of the case. The front portion is configured to cover the front face and sides of the device and includes rails or protrusions on opposing sides of its internal surface. The back portion is configured to cover the back side of the device and includes channels on opposing sides that are configured to be slid along the rails on the opposing sides of the internal surface of the front component arid thereby open and close the case. The protective case is configured to be reversibly attached to a stand that facilitates multiple viewing/operating positions.
APPARATUS WITH SELF-RETRACTING ELASTOMERIC SUPPORT BAND
Apparatus selectively attachable to the outer case of a cellular telephone or other similarly sized portable device. The apparatus desirably includes a housing containing an elastomeric band that is principally disposed inside the housing when the apparatus is not in use. The apparatus may include a kickstand and a cardholder. The elastomeric band can be used as a selectively retractable carrying strap when the cell phone or other similar device is not in use. Alternatively, the flexible continuous loop can be used, for example, to support the cell phone around a user's neck for hands-free use when the user is engaged in other activities.
Collapsible stand and cover
Collapsible stand to support and exhibit an article includes a stand portion, two forward legs and a rear leg. The legs engage a lower portion of a main body and splay outwardly in the form of a tripod. The main body provides support against which the article rests in leaning engagement. The legs each include: a floor support panel hingeably connected to the main body to support the bottom of the article; an exterior support panel hingeably connected to the floor support panel and projecting from the floor to the main body to resist the opposing force created by the load of the article on the stand; a shelf panel hingeably connected to the exterior support panel to support the load of the article on the stand; and a shelf support panel hingeably connected to the shelf panel to support the shelf panel against the main body.
