Golf club head with hosel tilt
Some embodiments of the golf club head described herein comprise a club body, the club body having a crown opposite a sole, a toe end opposite a heel end, a club face opposite a back end, and a hosel. A hosel axis is defined by the hosel, wherein the hosel axis is oriented relative to a plane perpendicular to a surface upon which the sole rests at address to define a hosel tilt. The hosel tilt is greater than zero degrees. The club body defines a resting face angle that is open relative to an intended target line.
System and method for adjusting the alignment of a golf club head
A system for adjusting alignment of a golf club head includes a club shaft having a proximal end and an opposing distal end, with a hosel fitting fixedly secured to the distal end of the club shaft. A neck is rotationally coupled to the hosel fitting at a first end and a club head is coupled to the second end of the neck. The hosel fitting includes a reference line and the neck includes a series of angle index lines. The angle of the club face is adjusted by selectively aligning a singled angle index line with the reference line.
Golf club head
Disclosed herein is a golf club head comprising at least one crown opening and at least one crown insert attached to the body and covering the at least one crown opening. The golf club head further comprises at least one sole opening and at least one sole insert attached to the body and covering the at least one sole opening. The golf club head additionally includes at least one weight member configured to clamp first and second ledges at selected locations along a sliding weight track. The golf club head also comprise a coefficient of restitution (COR) feature located on the sole of the golf club head. The at least one crown insert is formed from a composite material having a density between 1 g/cc and 2 g/cc. The at least one sole insert is formed from a composite material having a density between 1 g/cc and 2 g/cc.
