Protective pad for protection from impact and a protective garment using the same
A protective pad for protection from impact and a protective garment using the protective pad may be provided. In one implementation, the protective pad may include a foam part and a plate part. The foam part may include a plurality of channels, a plurality of cutout portions, and a plate accommodating section for receiving the plate part. The channels may be formed in a first surface of the foam part and the plate accommodating section may be formed in a second surface opposite to the first surface. The cutout portions of the foam part may include through-holes formed in the foam part from the first surface to the second surface. The plate part may be arranged on the plate accommodating section of the foam part, and the plate part may include a plurality of cutout portions that are substantially aligned with the cutout portions of the foam part.
LEG GUARD
The present disclosure provides a leg guard having a toe guard, a shin guard, a knee guard including an extended kneecap wrap, a thigh guard, and an interlocking hinge. The interlocking hinge helps prevent an opening from forming between the thigh guard and the knee guard during play and prevents the leg guard from moving or rotating about the user's leg during movement. The leg guard also includes a slider assembly attached to the thigh guard that allows for the cushion pad to remain fixed against the thigh of the user while only the cover shell slides up and down the leg as the user assumes any one of a plurality of positions.

LEG GUARDS WITH HINGES
Protective equipment for protecting a portion of a user's body (such as an articulating leg guard for protecting part of a user's leg) may include a knee guard assembly for covering at least a portion of a user's anterior knee region, a thigh guard assembly for covering at least a portion of a user's anterior thigh region, and at least two connection elements positioned to connect the knee guard assembly to the thigh guard assembly. The connection elements may be rotatably attached to the knee guard assembly at a first rotation axis and rotatably attached to the thigh guard assembly at a second rotation axis that is spaced apart from the first rotation axis. The leg guard may further include a floating knee guard assembly for covering at least a portion of a user's leg when a gap forms between the knee guard assembly and the thigh guard assembly.

System and method of assembling a protective sports helmet
A partial bespoke protective sports equipment to be worn by a player engaged in a sporting activity is provided. The partial bespoke sports equipment system includes methods for acquiring, storing and processing a player's unique data, namely the anatomical features of the body part against which the partial bespoke equipment is worn. The systems also includes methods of using the player's unique data to manufacture the partial bespoke protective equipment with a partially custom formed internal padding. The system and method allows for the design and manufacture of partial bespoke protective sports equipment that is purposely designed and manufactured to substantially match the anatomical specifications of the player's body part.
Catcher's leg guard
According to the present disclosure, a leg guard is provided with a splint connector that connects a knee guard with a thigh guard. The splint is made of a material and shaped in a way that allows the connector to hold tension like a rope, to hold compression like a support beam, to bend in one plane like a single hinge through the full range of the knee joint, to twist slightly and to create and maintain a consistent separation distance between the knee guard and the thigh guard while the leg guard including the connector is being worn.
