HOCKEY-GOALKEEPER PADS
Hockey-goalkeeper pads wearable on body parts (e.g., legs) of a hockey goalkeeper to protect these body parts against impacts from a projectile (i.e., puck or ball) while playing hockey, in which the hockey-goalkeeper pads may be configured to enhance performance, use, and/or other aspects of goalkeeping by the hockey goalkeeper, such as by being more durable (e.g., reducing crushing of padding material), improving rebounding of the projectile (e.g., increasing a rebound speed of the projectile and/or a coefficient of restitution), and/or facilitating their donning and securing by the hockey goalkeeper (e.g., connecting to skates).
COIL PROTECTION ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure includes a coil protection assembly configured to be incorporated into a piece of sports equipment such as a glove, shin guard, or shoulder pad. The coil protection assembly may include a coil element spiraled to form a plurality of loops. The coil protection assembly may also have a foam layer disposed on the interior surface of the coil element. An outer layer may enclose or encase the coil element and the foam layer with the loops free to move with respect to one another, A strip of liner material may be secured to the outer layer to connect the loop together. The liner material may be an elastic material to allow the loops to move away from each other, yet still retract back to a default position.
Gloves with a cut out portion and methods to manufacture gloves with a cut out portion
Embodiments of golf gloves having a cut out portion and methods to manufacture gloves having a cut out portion are generally described herein. Other embodiments of gloves may be described and claimed.
Body-protector
Body-protector (1,1′) comprising: a wearable article (2,2′); a shock-absorbing pad (3) anchored to the wearable article (2,2′); wherein the shock-absorbing pad (3) comprises a first member (4) configured to absorb shock energy by an irreversible plastic deformation and a second member (5) configured to absorb shock energy by a reversible elastic deformation and wherein the first member (4) is embedded in the second member (5); wherein the first member (4) comprises a plurality of cells (6) interconnected each other via their sidewalls (7) to form a pliable sheet (8) configured to absorb energy through irreversible deformation of said sidewalls (7) or said interconnections in response to a compressive load applied to said sheet (8). Said wearable article (2) being a glove (2′) wherein said shock-absorbing pad (3) is anchored to a back of the glove (2′).
Structurally-colored articles and methods for making and using structurally-colored articles
One or more aspects of the present disclosure are directed to bladders that incorporate a multi-layer optical film that impart a structural color to the bladder. The present disclosure is also directed to articles including the bladders having a multi-layer optical film, and methods for making articles and bladders having a multi-layer optical film.
ANTI-SLIP MEMBER FOR ARTICLE OF EQUIPMENT OR SPORT GEAR, ARTICLE OF EQUIPMENT, AND ARTICLE OF SPORT GEAR
An anti-slip member for a wearable equipment or sports equipment, the anti-slip member includes an elastic body including an elastomer and a hydrogel, and at least part of the hydrogel dispersed on a surface of the elastic body.
Object hardness measuring device and method
An object hardness measuring device includes a first side portion, a second side portion, a pedestal unit, a load unit, a measuring unit, and a holding unit. The load unit applies a load to the measurement object. The measuring unit is able to measure, in a state where the load acts on the measurement object, at least one of a movement distance of the second side portion with respect to the first side portion and a change amount of the load when the second side portion is moved either at a predetermined speed or to a predetermined position. The holding unit is able to hold the measurement object, and is movable between the first side portion and the second side portion by the slide rail unit.
CATCHER'S MITT AND RELATED METHODS OF USE
In various aspects, the catcher's mitt disclosed herein may include a catching side and a rear side opposed in spaced relation to the catching side with opposing edges of the catching side and rear side interconnected to form a thumb edge, a finger edge, a heel, and a tip. A hand cavity is formed between the catching side and the rear side. The catcher's mitt includes a target formed into the leather on the catching side. The target is formed of one or more colors that contrast with a background color of the non-target portion of the catching side to visually attract a pitcher's eye.
Gloves with a cut out portion and methods to manufacture gloves with a cut out portion
Embodiments of golf gloves having a cut out portion and methods to manufacture gloves having a cut out portion are generally described herein. Other embodiments of gloves may be described and claimed.
