Method for treating keratinous fibers using steam
Provided is a method for treating keratinous fibers comprising: applying steam to the keratinous fibers at a rate of less than 5 g/min; and shaping the keratinous fibers at a temperature of greater than 50 C., wherein the application of the steam and the shaping of the keratinous fibers do not occur simultaneously. The method disclosed herein may make it possible for example to obtain rapid shaping of the keratinous fibers while improving their cosmetic properties and the comfort of the user.
Hairstyling Apparatus Using Steam with Steam-Confining Means
Provided is a hairstyling apparatus (I) including a portable treatment unit (2) provided with two arms (3, 4) arranged to form a clamp provided with two surfaces (5, 6) disposed opposite one another and enabling a lock of hair to be clamped therebetween. The portable treatment unit includes steam-diffusion means (7) arranged to diffuse steam from a first (5) of the two surfaces towards the second (6) of the two surfaces. The apparatus includes means (9, 10) for confining the diffused steam, between the two surfaces (5, 6) placed one against the other.
Hair treatment apparatus with steam containment
The invention concerns a hair treatment apparatus, comprising: two arms that are movable relative to each other and capable of assuming a spaced-apart configuration in which a lock of hair can be inserted between them, and a closed configuration for treating the lock of hair, the arms being capable of being moved along the lock in this closed configuration, two contact surfaces carried respectively by the two arms, arranged opposite each other, at least one of the contact surfaces being heated, at least one steam outlet carried by one of the arms at a distance from the corresponding contact surface, in order to expose the hair engaged between the arms to steam, a containment structure for at least partially containing the steam, carried at least partially by the other of said arms, a comb having teeth, carried by said one of the arms that carries said at least one steam outlet, said at least one steam outlet being interposed between the comb and the contact surfaces.
Hair treatment device with improved sealing and efficiency
A hair treatment device includes a first and a second arm, movable in relation to each other, which can be opened to introduce a strand of hair between them and closed to treat the strand of hair, a first and second contact surfaces respectively supported by the first and second arms, arranged facing each other, with at least one of the contact surfaces being heated, at least the first arm having at least one first piece supporting the first contact surface, a sealing element including a central window arranged such that it extends at least partially around the first contact surface between the latter and the first supporting piece,
wherein the sealing element includes at least one opening that is distinct from the central window and the first supporting piece and the first contact surface come into contact with each other through the at least one opening.
HAIR STYLING APPARATUS
A hair styling apparatus for styling hair. The apparatus includes a steam generator for generating steam and one or more steam outlets in fluid communication with the steam generator for receipt of steam therefrom. The apparatus further includes an air mover for moving an airflow through the apparatus, and one or more airflow outlets in fluid communication with the air mover for receipt of an airflow therefrom. The apparatus further includes a flow diverter moveable between first and second positions. In the first position the flow diverter directs airflow to the one or more airflow outlets. In the second positions the flow diverter directs airflow to the one or more steam outlets, or to one or more further airflow outlets arranged to discharge air onto hair being styled by the apparatus in use.
HAIR STYLING APPARATUS
A hair styling apparatus for styling a tress of hair. The apparatus includes a barrel having a circumferential surface about which a tress of hair can be wrapped in use, a steam generator for generating steam and one or more steam outlets in fluid communication with the steam generator for receipt of steam therefrom. The one or more steam outlets are arranged to discharge steam onto a tress of hair when wrapped about the circumferential surface. The apparatus further includes an air mover for moving an airflow through the apparatus and one or more airflow outlets in fluid communication with the air mover for receipt of an airflow therefrom. The one or more airflow outlets are arranged to discharge air in a direction along the barrel so as to provide a barrier to the passage of the discharged steam.
DEVICE FOR TREATING THE HAIR
A device for treating the hair, having two hair treatment jaws that are movable relative to one another between a spaced-apart configuration and a moved-together configuration, an internal treatment member having an internal heating surface, which extends over one of the jaws towards the other of the jaws in the moved-together configuration and is configured to come into contact with the hair extending between the jaws, at least one internal treatment member having a first lateral edge and an opposite second lateral edge, the first lateral edge being configured such that an angle formed between a median plane of the device, extending between the jaws in the moved-together configuration of the jaws, and hair under mechanical tension, bearing on the first lateral edge, and on an outer surface of the corresponding jaw, adjacent to and separated from the internal treatment member, is less than or equal to 120, and strictly greater than 90.
DEVICE FOR TREATING THE HAIR
A device for treating the hair, in particular for curling the hair, including two hair treatment jaws that are movable relative to one another between a spaced-apart configuration for inserting hair to be treated between said jaws and a moved-together configuration for treating the hair, an external hair treatment member having at least one external surface for heating the hair, which extends over one of the two jaws towards the exterior of the two jaws, a thermal protection cover mounted removably by being clip-fastened on the device so as to at least partially cover the external heating surface, the cover having a recess configured to form a deformation zone of the cover when it is fitted on the device.
HAIR TREATMENT PROCESS
A process for treating a lock of hair, involving moving a device along the lock to perform the following steps when the device is passed over the lock: a heat treatment by gripping between two jaws of the device that are hinged together and passing through an internal heat treatment zone extending between the two jaws, a heat-treatment by passage over an external heat treatment zone extending on the outer surface of one of the two jaws of the device, guiding by passing through a guiding zone extending outside the jaw of the device bearing the external heat treatment zone, the guiding zone having guiding surfaces at the proximal and/or distal part of the jaw, forming laterally to the guiding zone an obstacle to the hair that is sufficient to contain the hair in said guiding zone.
DEVICE FOR TREATING THE HAIR
A device for treating, notably for shaping, in particular straightening, the hair, having at least one active portion comprising at least one light emission source that is able to emit, towards the hair, light radiation having a dominant wavelength peak of between 0.8 m and 5 m. The invention also relates to a method for treating the hair, notably for straightening it, using such a device.
