The appliance may further include an attachment for connection to the handle wherein the further user operated button operates a mechanism for removing the attachment from the handle. The user interface may include three user operated buttons which may be arranged in a triangular configuration, each of the three user operated buttons may be disposed at a vertex of the triangle.

A portable and wearable hair styling device includes a headband configured to conform to a head of a user, a hair wrap attached to the headband, wherein the hair wrap includes a flexible inside layer, an air distribution network, and a flexible outside layer attached to the flexible inside layer creating an interior volume between the flexible inside layer and the flexible outside layer, wherein the flexible outside layer includes a hair dryer attachment and a clip configured to close a lower portion of the hair wrap around hair of the user.

The present application provides a hair curler and a method using for same. The hair curler comprises a main body (1). The main body (1) comprises a first proximal end (2) and a first distal end (3); a first internal space (4) is formed inside the main body (1); a first elongated slot (6) communicated with the first internal space (4) is formed on the first proximal end (2); a first opening (8) of the first elongated slot (6) is formed on the first proximal end (2). The hair curler further comprises a first movable arm (7) movably disposed in the first internal space (4). A heating member for heating hair (33) is disposed on a slot wall of the first elongated slot (6) and/or the first movable arm (7). The hair curler is simple, practicable, safe and convenient.

A curling iron that winds a lock of hair about a barrel includes a body that surrounds the barrel and forms a hair-receiving space accessed through an opening in the body. The opening includes a circumferential portion extending about a distal end of the barrel, and a slot extending axially from the circumferential portion toward a proximal end of the barrel. The slot portion is disposed at a longitudinal end of the curling iron for receiving a lock of hair that is elongated parallel to the slot portion and pushed in crosswise.
