The connecting base is rotatably mounted in the housing and connected to the driving motor, and the connecting base has a connecting end protruding from the open end. The hair curling rod includes a heating rod and a fixing base connected to one end of the heating rod. The fixing base is removably connected to the connecting end. The technical solution of the present invention can facilitate the replacement of heating rod by a user.

The device has a body (12) defining a chamber (16) adapted to accommodate a length of hair (24), the chamber having an opening (22) through which the length of hair may pass into the chamber. A rotatable element (26) is adapted to engage the length of hair adjacent to the opening and to wind the length of hair around a protrusion within the chamber. A first hair-straightening panel (44) and a second hair-straightening panel (46) are provided, the first hair-straightening panel and the second hair-straightening panel facing one another and defining a passage (50) through which the length of hair passes as it leaves the chamber, the first hair-straightening panel and the second hair-straightening panel being movable relative to one another.

A hair clip attached to the curling member secures and end of the dreadlock to the curling member. A motor selectively rotates the curling member. And a drying coil selectively heats the curling member, thereby drying the dreadlock when it is wrapped around the curling member.

The hair styling device includes a body and a plurality of tines extending from a proximate end of the body, wherein each of the plurality of tines have a same length as measured from a proximal end to an opposing distal end of a tine. The tines are rigid and non-flexible to facilitate the manipulation and styling of curly hair. In some embodiments, the tines are angled such that the proximal end of the tine extends from a first side of the body and the distal end of the tine is disposed on a second side of the body, wherein the first side and second side are opposite one another. In other embodiments, the tines include an arcuate configuration. The configuration of the tines allows for various manipulation of hair to provide differently styled curls or wavy features.
