Hair styling device, hair styling method and drive system
This invention relates to a hair styling device, a hair styling method, and a drive system suitable for use in the hair styling device. The invention relates in particular to a hair styling device (10; 210) for imparting a wave to a section of hair (36) without clamping the section of hair in the wave form. The device has a first forming member (24) and a second forming member (24) with a hair-receiving region (38) between the forming members. A driving member (20; 120) is movable relative to the first forming member and the second forming member to deform the section of hair in the hair-receiving region. The driving member (20; 120) undertakes a two-stage movement as it deforms the section of hair, the driving member in a first stage being movable in a first direction (D1) to drive the section of hair (36) into the hair-receiving region, the driving member (20; 120) in a second stage being movable in a second direction (D2), the second direction being at an angle to the first direction whereby in use to further move the section of hair in the hair-receiving region (38).
Apparatus and Method for Elongating Natural Hair Coils and Defining Natural Hair Coil Patterns
One embodiment of a hair tool 100 to elongate and define natural hair coils 110, where the hair tool 100 comprises top coiling members 120 and bottom coiling members 121, a connector 140, and a securing member 150, 151, wherein a coil of hair 110 placed and secured between the top coiling members 120 and the bottom coiling members 121 can be elongated and/or defined 600. Other embodiments are described and shown 710, 720, 730, 740, and 800.
Method and device for straightening hair
A hair straightening device which in some embodiments may include an applicator and a hair press. The applicator may have a shaft with a handle and a hair hook. The hair press may have a first press member, a second hair press member, a first hinge assembly, and a cavity. The first press member may include a first press surface, a first elongated locking side, and a first elongated hinge side. The second press member may include a second press surface, a second elongated locking side, and a second elongated hinge side. The first hinge assembly may be configured to pivotally couple the first elongated hinge side of the first press member to the second elongated hinge side of the second press member. The cavity may be formed between the first press surface and second press surface when the press surfaces are moved proximate to each other.

Contoured And Chambered Hair Styling Device
Disclosed is a hair styling device and its employment in a specific styling method. The device comprises an elastomeric block having an elliptically-shaped substantially smooth top surface, a patterned, sculptured and textured bottom surface, and a continuous side panel integrally connected to the edges of both the top surface and the bottom surface. The bottom surface is further constructed with parallel V-shaped channels and a plurality of regularly-spaced circular chambers, the chambers being orthogonal to the bottom surface. The device is used by placing the bottom-located channels and chambers against sections of hair while simultaneously using varying pressure and rotary movement of the bottom surface upon the hair. In this manner the hair may be styled into a multiplicity of twists or spirals.
CAP FOR CREATING A SPIRAL WAVE HAIR PATTERN
A cap apparatus for use by a user to create a spiral wave pattern in hair includes a generally semi-spherical shaped elastic member having an interior face defining an interior cavity configured to receive the user's head, and a cord coupled to the interior face of the elastic member and oriented in a spiral circular pattern, the cord having a first end positioned on a central portion of the elastic member, an intermediate region that extends in the spiral circular pattern from the first end to a second end of the cord located proximate an edge of the elastic member. The elastic member is adjusted to place the cord's first end above a cowlick of the user's hair. Tension generated in the elastic member when placed over the user's head permits the cord to apply pressure on the head, thereby creating the spiral wave pattern in the hair.
HAIR FORMING DEVICE
A hair forming device comprises two flexible elongate sheets overlapping each other; two wires basting-stitching through the two flexible elongate sheets along and at both length-wise sides thereof respectively; an elongate stopper disposed beyond length-wise ends of the two flexible elongate sheets; a plurality of elongate wave forming members spacedly arranged on one or both of the sheets in a length-direction of the flexible elongate sheets; an elongate hair pulling elongate bar extending in a length-direction of the flexible elongate sheets, wherein the hair pulling elongate bar is disposed between the flexible elongate sheets to move along the length-direction of the flexible elongate sheets.
