A hair teasing and damage reduction system is disclosed. The system includes a sleeve having a first half, a second half, and a middle connecting region. The first half of the sleeve includes a hair engaging surface and a non-contact surface with a pocket formed by a left lateral edge, a right lateral edge, and an end edge. The second half of the sleeve includes a hair engaging surface and a non-contact surface with a pocket formed by a left lateral edge, a right lateral edge, and an end edge. The pinch clip has a clasping end, a gripping end, and a hinge. The clasping end includes a top prong and a bottom prong. The gripping end includes a top extension and a bottom extension.

Hair Straightening Device
A hair straightening device including a first arm, a hinge connected to the first arm, and a second arm connected to the hinge. The first arm, the second arm, or both are rotatable around the hinge between an open position where the first arm and the second arm do not contact each other and a closed position where the first arm and the second arm contact each other. The second arm comprises protrusions extending away from an interior surface of the second arm that faces the first arm of when the hair straightening device is in the closed position. The first arm may include holes corresponding to the protrusions, a first deformable material that is contacted and deformed by the protrusions, a first non-deformable material that is contacted but not deformed by the protrusions, or a combination thereof.
HAIR ACCESSORY
A weighted hair accessory device is provided, wherein the hair accessory device includes a main body including a first movable arm and a second movable arm, wherein the main body is configured to move between an open and a closed position; a hinge element pivotally connecting a first end of the first movable arm to a first end of the second movable arm; and a securing device having a first latching element located at a second end of the first movable arm and a second latching element located at a second end of the second movable arm, wherein the securing device is configured to releasably secure the main body in the closed position. The hair accessory device is configured to apply weight to a portion of hair in order to straighten and/or prevent shrinkage of the portion of hair during drying, e.g., without the use of chemical substances or heat.
HAIR ACCESSORY
A weighted hair accessory device is provided, wherein the hair accessory device includes a main body including a first movable arm and a second movable arm, wherein the main body is configured to move between an open and a closed position; a hinge element pivotally connecting a first end of the first movable arm to a first end of the second movable arm; and a securing device having a first latching element located at a second end of the first movable arm and a second latching element located at a second end of the second movable arm, wherein the securing device is configured to releasably secure the main body in the closed position. The hair accessory device is configured to apply weight to a portion of hair in order to straighten and/or prevent shrinkage of the portion of hair during drying, e.g., without the use of chemical substances or heat.
Heat-retaining clips for creating textured waves in hair
A heat-retaining clip assembly is provided. The heat-retaining clip assembly includes a convex surface nested in a concave surface in a closed position, wherein the convex and concave surfaces are pivotably connected to move between the closed position and an open position. The convex surface has a higher thermal conductivity than the concave surface. The present invention includes a system providing an arcuate heating element that can be sandwiched between the convex and concave surfaces in the closed position, while the convex surface conducts most of the heat. Then the heat-retaining clip assembly may be moved in the open position from the heating element to a user's hair so that the heat stored in the convex surface transfers to the hair to form textured waves in the hair after the clip is moved back to the closed position.
Heat-retaining clips for creating textured waves in hair
A heat-retaining clip assembly is provided. The heat-retaining clip assembly includes a convex surface nested in a concave surface in a closed position, wherein the convex and concave surfaces are pivotably connected to move between the closed position and an open position. The convex surface has a higher thermal conductivity than the concave surface. The present invention includes a system providing an arcuate heating element that can be sandwiched between the convex and concave surfaces in the closed position, while the convex surface conducts most of the heat. Then the heat-retaining clip assembly may be moved in the open position from the heating element to a user's hair so that the heat stored in the convex surface transfers to the hair to form textured waves in the hair after the clip is moved back to the closed position.
