Processing apparatus and image projecting method

A processing apparatus includes a processing section acquiring a position in which a card is placed, and a rendering control section controlling projection of an image by a projection apparatus. On the basis of the position in which the card is placed, the rendering control section causes the projection apparatus to project the image associated with the card onto the card in a manner larger than the card. An image projecting method includes acquiring a position in which a card is placed, and on the basis of the position in which the card is placed, causing a projection apparatus to project an image associated with the card onto the card in a manner larger than the card.

A cube puzzle solver includes: a position sensing element; at least one user interface (UI) output; and a controller that receives position information from the position sensing element, determines a suggested move, and directs the at least one UI output to provide an indication associated with the suggested move. An automated method of determining a position of a cube puzzle solver includes: monitoring a set of sense pins; identifying rotation based on a change in state of at least one sense pin; identifying a face associated with the identified rotation; and updating a state of the cube puzzle solver based on the identified face and the identified rotation. A cube puzzle system includes: a cube puzzle device including: a wireless communication interface; and a user device communicatively coupled to the cube puzzle solver over the wireless communication interface.

The present invention provides a board game system in which an electrostatic-capacitance-based touchscreen that is capable of detecting a plurality of touched positions by detecting changes in electrostatic capacitance is used as a board. The board game system includes an electronic device equipped with the touchscreen; and game pieces that are used while being placed on the touchscreen and that are constituted at least partially of a conductive section. The conductive section is laid out so as to be intervened by a non-conductive section or gaps on the contact face. In the case where the game piece is placed on the touchscreen, the conductive section causes the predetermined or greater amount of change in the electrostatic capacitance at the contact positions of the conductive section on the contact face in the case where the conductive section is touched by the user. The electronic device recognizes the game piece.

An apparatus includes a movement mechanism, a sensor, a microphone, a speaker, a processor and a memory. The processor selects a target region, controls the movement mechanism to cause the apparatus to move to the target region, and causes a speaker to output a first sound. When counting a predetermined number, the processor causes the sensor to trace a movement locus of a user. In a case where the processor has determined that an acquired sound contains a predetermined speech, the processor controls the movement mechanism to cause the apparatus to move through a predetermined space. When the processor has determined that the apparatus is not to intentionally lose in a game of hide-and-seek, the processor controls the movement mechanism to cause the apparatus to move to a target blind spot within the predetermined space, and causes the speaker to output a second sound.

Omnidirectional target for an amusement game device

A target assembly includes a target post mounted to an underside of a playfield and sized to extend through an opening in the playfield. A centering device is mounted to the target post between a first end of the target post and a second end of the target post and a centering plate secures the target post to the underside of the playfield, wherein the centerplate and the centering device form a fulcrum for the target post to pivot as a lever. Impact of a ball with any portion of the target post, and in any direction, above the playfield causes the target post to pivot about the fulcrum, where a sensing switch senses the target post movement. A biasing element coupled to the centering device biases the target post into a rest position and returns the impacted target lever towards the rest position after impact by the ball.
