PEGBOARD TYPE REHABILITATION TRAINING SYSTEM
Disclosed is a rehabilitation training apparatus that is used when a stroke patient or the like performs rehabilitation training. A rehabilitation training system includes a main device in which a plurality of unit modules are disposed on a plane at a specific interval; a board plate inserted into or coupled to the main device and including a plurality of holes; and a plurality of pegs that are inserted into the holes of the board plate, wherein each of the unit modules includes a sensor module configured to detect insertion of a peg into the hole, and a light source module configured to output light of a specific color, and if the board plate is inserted into the main device, the light source module provides output light to the outside through the hole of the board plate.
COMPETITIVE ESCAPE ROOMS
Apparatuses, systems, methods, and computer program products are presented for competitive escape rooms. A first room has a predetermined method to accomplish a task within the first room. A second room has a same predetermined method to accomplish a same task within the second room as in a first room. A hardware controller device determines in which of a first room and a second room a task is completed first by one of a plurality of competing sets of users.
ELECTRONIC CHIP TRAY WITH CHIP SENSORS
A system and method to receive side wagers such as progressive wager. A plurality of sensors is located on or near the dealer's chip tray at a casino table, there is one such sensor for each player that the table can accommodate. Before a new game is dealt at the table, players place their main wagers and their side wagers. The dealer will then move all of the side wagers to their respective sensors of the plurality of sensors. The dealer will then deal the game from start to finish, and will use the side wagers placed on the plurality of sensors to determine which players have made the side wager. Only players who have made the side wager are eligible for a side wager payout.
GAMES PLAYED WITH ROBOTS
A robotic gaming system is provided that includes a playing surface, a ceiling above the playing surface and a subfloor below the playing surface. At least one robot is controlled by a player to navigate on the playing surface, above the subfloor, or below the ceiling to interact with a plurality of scoring elements. A sensor associated with a scoring element identifies when a robot successfully interacts with the scoring element to score points.
PORTAL DEVICE AND COOPERATING VIDEO GAME MACHINE
A portal device for a video game includes a pad with different zones that can be illuminated by selectable colors, a toy sensor (e.g., an RFID tag sensor) associated with each zone, a controller and a communications port for communicating with a video game process executing on a game machine. The colors of each zone can be configured to one or a combination of three primary colors during game play, based on the game process. The portal device reacts to placement of tagged toys on zones and the color of the zones during play, and provides sensor data to the game process. The game process controls the game state in part based on data from the portal device and in part on other user input.
FLOOR-BASED GAME MANAGEMENT
Systems and methods may provide for determining an identity of an interchangeable overlay adjacent to a detection mat of a floor-based game management apparatus and detecting foot-based user input via an array of sensors distributed across a surface of the detection mat. Additionally, game-related user feedback may be output via one or more speakers of the floor-based game management apparatus based at least in part on the foot-based user input and the identity of the interchangeable overlay. In one example, at least a portion of the game-related user feedback is output via an array of light sources distributed across the surface of the detection mat.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONFIGURING AVATARS IN INTERACTIVE PHYSICAL ENVIORNMENTS
An interactive physical environment providing entertainment to a patron includes a scanner, a sensor within the room, and a control system. The scanner is associated with a room provided by the interactive physical environment. The scanner identifies a patron of the interactive physical environment and transmits patron identification information. The sensor determines patron game performance data and transmits the patron performance data. The control system receives patron identification information from the scanner and patron performance data from the sensor. The control system, responsive to the received patron identification information and patron performance data, modifying an avatar associated with the patron.
AUGMENTED REALITY AND PHYSICAL GAMES
Augmented reality and physical game techniques are described. In one or more implementations, an indication is received by a computing device of a location of a physical gaming piece of a game. An augmentation is computed based on the indication by the computing device to be displayed as part of the game. The augmentation is displayed by the computing device on a display device that is at least partially transparent such that a physical portion of the game is viewable through the display device concurrently with the augmentation.
Games played with robots
A robotic gaming system is provided that includes a plurality of modular wall sections placed on playing surface. At least one robot is controlled by a player to navigate on the playing surface and interact with a plurality of scoring elements on the walls. A sensor associated with a scoring elements identifies when the robot successfully interacts with the scoring element to score a point.
Automated card shuffling and dealing device
An automated playing card, shuffling and dealing device in turn shuffles and in turn deals playing cards of two playing card sets, includes two card slot assemblies each disposed with a shuffled card box and a dealt card box. A control unit controls a dealing element to align with the playing card set in the shuffled card box of the card slot assembly at a card drawing position, sequentially draw the cards in the playing card set, and move the uncovered cards to the corresponding dealt card box. Meanwhile, the control unit controls a shuffling machine to align with the playing card set in the dealt card box of the card slot assembly at a card shuffling position. After the dealing process is complete, the control unit exchanges the positions of two card slot assemblies. Accordingly, shuffling and dealing in turn are completed in an uninterrupted and automated manner.
