Storage medium, game system, game apparatus and game controlling method
A non-limiting example game system comprises a processor incorporated in a main body apparatus, and the processor displays, in a battle scene, a battle screen including a player character, an enemy character and a board face object on a display. The board face object having a circular board face that is formed with multiple partial objects that are sectioned by multiple concentric circles and multiple lines extended radially. A player makes the multiple partial objects move in a circumferential direction or a radial direction so as to change arrangement of multiple enemy characters placed on the multiple partial objects, thereby causing the player character to perform an attack.
Methods and systems for spectating characters in follow-mode for virtual reality views
Methods and systems for spectating a live video game are presented. In one embodiment, a method for performing an automated catch-up to a player is provided. The method includes providing an interface for presenting a first view of a video game on a client device where the first view has a first vantage point and includes a target player. The method includes an operation for providing a portal within the interface for presenting a second view of the target object, the second view having a second vantage point. The method further includes an operation for moving the second vantage point toward the target object within the portal. Additionally, the method provides an operation for wiping away the portal.

System and method for creating and streaming augmented game sessions
An approach is provided for streaming of media streams (e.g., from a game console). In one implementation, a media stream that includes a secondary view of the game world may be generated at the game console. The secondary view may be of a lower-quality version of a primary view of the game world. The generation of the media stream may include: prefetching, to a cache of the game console, portions of the primary view and/or instructions for encoding the portions; and encoding, based on the prefetching, the portions to produce the secondary view. In another implementation, game play information may be executed to reproduce previous game play of a previous game session during a reproduction of the previous game session. Augmentation content may be added to the reproduced game session during the reproduction of the previous game session, creating an augmented game session having one or more views for streaming.

Processing Device, Program, And Method
A processing device includes: an input interface receiving an instruction to operate an operator character object associated with a first virtual camera in a virtual game space in which a player character object is arranged; a memory storing arrangement coordinates of the player character object, the first virtual camera, and the operator character object; and a processor. The processor is configured to execute computer readable instructions to update the arrangement coordinates of the operator character object and the first virtual camera to updated arrangement coordinates when receiving the instruction, virtually image the virtual game space by the first virtual camera arranged at the updated arrangement coordinates, and generate a first virtual image of the virtual game space virtually imaged by the first virtual camera.
Methods and systems for spectating characters in virtual reality views
Methods and systems for spectating a live video game are presented. In one method embodiment, an operation includes providing an interface for presenting an overhead view of an interactive environment of a video game on a head mounted display (HMD). The method also provides an operation for providing a magnifying window for displaying a magnified view of the interactive environment, where the magnified view is associated with a second vantage point that is closer to the interactive environment than is a first vantage point of the overhead view. The method further provides an operation for tracking a real-world position of a controller of the spectator and moving the location of the magnifying window to correspond to the real-world position of the controller.

Method of display user movement in virtual reality system and related device
A method of display user movement in a computing device of a virtual reality system is disclosed. The method comprises generating a first image in a first-person perspective with a first-person control, simulating an avatar according to a first control signal received from a controller of the virtual reality system, and generating a second image including the avatar in the first-person perspective with a third-person control, wherein the first-person perspective indicates that a user sees images as if seen through the avatar's eyes, and a field of view of the avatar is controlled by the user, the first-person control indicates that a user's movement is displayed by a relative position between the avatar and a scene of the images, and the third-person control indicates that the user's movement is displayed by different locations of the avatar in the images.
