Systems and methods for assisting virtual gestures based on viewing frustum
An endpoint system including one or more computing devices presents an object in a virtual environment (e.g., a shared virtual environment); receives gaze input corresponding to a gaze of a user of the endpoint system; calculates a gaze vector based on the gaze input; receives motion input corresponding to an action of the user; determines a path adjustment (e.g., by changing motion parameters such as trajectory and velocity) for the object based at least in part on the gaze vector and the motion input; and simulates motion of the object within the virtual environment based at least in part on the path adjustment. The object may be presented as being thrown by an avatar, with a flight path based on the path adjustment. The gaze vector may be based on head orientation information, eye tracking information, or some combination of these or other gaze information.
Systems and methods for creating and sharing virtual and augmented experiences
Techniques for creating compelling extended reality (XR) environments, including virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR), and other computer-generated experiences, are provided. In some embodiments, a VR and MR system, including a computer hardware- and software-based control system, controls a specialized headset, hand controls, and a distributed array of sensors and actuators to produce a VR or MR environment with compelling VR and MR display and social interaction features. In some embodiments, the VR and MR system creates and provides escalating levels of data access, permissions and experiences for users, based on different, multi-phased ratings. In some embodiments, a first rating sets a level of access to gameplay leading to a second rating. In some such embodiments, one user's VR or MR experience related to another user is modified aesthetically, haptically or otherwise, depending on the levels granted by another user, and other attributes.
Systems and methods for augmented reality
An augmented reality viewer includes components, assemblies, and executable logic to provide a user with the perception of rich augmented reality experiences, including aspects of the aquatic world.
Head mounted display
A head mounted display (HMD) is provided. The HMD includes a housing and a view port of the housing. The view port has a screen for rendering an augmented reality scene. Included is a communications device for exchanging streaming data over a network. A depth camera integrated in the housing and oriented to capture depth data of an environment in front of the housing is included. A processor is configured to use the depth data captured by the depth camera to identify spatial positioning of real objects in the environment. A real object is rendered into the augmented reality scene, and the real object is tracked such that insertion of augmented reality objects are placed in coordination with movements of the real object shown in the augmented reality scene. The real object captured by the depth camera is the environment where a user wearing the HMD is located.

Video game processing program, video game processing system and video game processing method
A video game processing program product causes a user terminal to realize functions to control progress of a video game. The functions include: an updating function configured to update a position of a character; a first displaying function configured to display, in a normal mode, a normal game screen; and a second displaying function configured to display, in a photographing mode, a photographing game screen based on a photographing operation. In a first case where a user operates the user character to change position while the photographing screen is displayed in the photographing mode, a change in position of the user character does not affect a status of the normal mode. The status of the normal mode of the video game is configured to be updated in a second case while the photographing screen is displayed in the photographing mode.

Virtual reality
A virtual reality apparatus includes a head mountable display (HMD); a detector to detect a deviation of a current orientation of the HMD from a base orientation of the HMD; and a generator to generate content for presentation to the wearer of the HMD to prompt the wearer of the HMD to turn his head so as to change the orientation of the HMD towards the base orientation.
Method for controlling game character and electronic device and computer storage medium
A method for controlling game character is applied to a touch control terminal capable of rendering a graphical user interface, the graphical user interface includes a virtual character and at least part of a game scene. The method includes: at least one target virtual object that satisfies a prompt trigger event is determined (S1410); a sub-identifier corresponding to each of the at least one target virtual object in a first graphical identifier is determined, wherein the sub-identifier is used for graphically displaying the prompt trigger event on the graphical user interface (S1430); in response to a visual field adjustment touch instruction, a first presentation visual field of the game screen is changed to a second presentation visual field of the game screen determined according to direction information corresponding to the sub-identifier (S1450). An apparatus for controlling game character, an electronic device and a computer storage medium are also disclosed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING A NON-CURATED VIEWING PERSPECTIVE IN A VIDEO GAME PLATFORM BASED ON A CURATED VIEWING PERSPECTIVE
Systems and methods are described for creating a non-curated viewing perspective in a video game platform based on a curated viewing perspective. For example, a user may be viewing a gameplay video of a video game. The user may be interested in viewing the same gameplay from a different perspective in the video game. Accordingly, a media guidance application may identify the video game in the video and retrieve video game engine data associated with the video game, to replicate, on a video game console, the gameplay depicted in the video. The user may be able to change the perspective (e.g., in-game position of the camera and the camera angle) within the replicated video game platform, via user commands. In response to receiving a user command to change the curated viewing perspective to a non-curated viewing perspective, the media guidance application may re-render the gameplay from the non-curated viewing perspective.
