Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and recording medium
An information processing apparatus in which a player plays a game by controlling a player character is provided. The information processing apparatus includes a memory, and a processor coupled to the memory and configured to generate a game image in accordance with an operation by the player, generate another image of another character or an object other than the player character, in a case where the another character or the object is in a state to be affected by the player character in the game, and superimpose and display the another image on the game image.
Method and Apparatus for Controlling Virtual Camera in Game
A method and apparatus for controlling a virtual camera in a game are disclosed. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, a virtual camera is controlled to shift in response to a first touch operation for a visual field control area, the virtual camera is controlled, in response to the ending of the first touch operation, to return from a second position to a first position, a game operation instruction is received during the returning process, and a corresponding action is performed in response to the game operation instruction.

Game device, control method of game device, and storage medium that can be read by computer
In a case where operations to a player character are restricted and a virtual camera is controlled according to event data, motion of the user's head, which is detected by an HMD 300, is reflected on the direction of the virtual camera that is set based on the event data. As a result, even in a situation where the user cannot operate the player character as he/she wants, images displayed on the HMD 300 move together with motion of the head. Therefore, it is possible to reduce occurrence of simulator sickness.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR OBSERVING VIRTUAL ITEM IN VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT AND READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
This application discloses a method and apparatus for observing a virtual item in a virtual environment performed at a computer device and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. The method includes: displaying a first environment interface, the first environment interface including a picture of a virtual environment when performing rotation observation by using a first rotation axis distance; receiving a viewing angle rotation operation; adjusting, when an operation parameter of the viewing angle rotation operation satisfies an item observation condition, the first rotation axis distance to a second rotation axis distance by adjusting a position of a rotation center; and displaying a second environment interface, the second environment interface including a picture of the virtual environment when performing rotation observation on a virtual item in the virtual environment by using the second rotation axis distance.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GENERATING MARK INFORMATION IN VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method for generating mark information in a virtual environment includes displaying a target-perspective picture showing the virtual environment including a virtual character from a perspective, a sight bead and a mark control interface being displayed in the target-perspective picture. The method also includes receiving a first-perspective switching operation, and changing an observation direction of the target-perspective picture and an aiming position of the sight bead according to the first-perspective switching operation. The method further includes receiving a mark operation triggered on the mark control interface, and generating, according to the mark operation, mark information on a virtual object to which the aiming position points.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DIRECTING USER ATTENTION TO A LOCATION BASED GAME PLAY COMPANION APPLICATION
A method for providing information in an HMD. The method includes defining an active zone in a virtual reality (VR) viewing environment of a user as presented through a 3D display of the HMD. The method includes placing main content in the active zone of the VR viewing environment. The method includes defining one or more peripheral zones outside of the active zone. The method includes placing secondary content in the first peripheral zone of the VR viewing environment. The method includes displaying an attractor within the active zone in conjunction with the entry of new data in the secondary content, wherein the attractor brings attention of the user to the first peripheral zone. The method includes detecting rotation of the HMD from the first orientation directed to the active zone towards a second orientation directed to the first peripheral zone. The method includes pausing the main content.
