In some aspects, methods of the subject technology include operations for defining a portion of the digital environment as an impression area, wherein the impression area is associated with a tagged advertisement area, providing a stream of an advertisement to the tagged advertisement area, and updating advertising impression information stored in memory regarding the advertisement, wherein an advertising impression is based on the identification of the character within the impression area and the availability of an unobstructed line-of-sight between the character and the tagged advertisement area. Systems and methods for verifying an advertisement impression in a digital environment are provided. VIDEO RECORDING METHOD BASED ON VIRTUAL REALITY APPLICATION, TERMINAL DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
This application provides a method for recording interactions of a virtual role of a target virtual object with other virtual objects in a virtual reality application from a third person perspective view. The method includes: configuring a third person perspective view, the third person perspective view being a video shooting perspective view of a virtual controller; obtaining location information of the virtual role in the virtual reality application; obtaining current orientation information of the third person perspective view, which is orientation information of the third person perspective view virtual camera in the virtual reality application; obtaining, according to the location information of the virtual role and the current orientation information of the third person perspective view, scene data corresponding to the virtual reality application in which the virtual role is currently located; and capturing and displaying actions of the target virtual object according to the scene data.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MAPPING A VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT
A method of mapping a virtual environment includes: obtaining a first sequence of video images output by a videogame title; obtaining a corresponding sequence of in-game virtual camera positions at which the video images were created; obtaining a corresponding sequence of depth buffer values for a depth buffer used by the videogame whilst creating the video images; and, for each of a plurality of video images and corresponding depth buffer values of the obtained sequences, obtain mapping points corresponding to a selected predetermined set of depth values corresponding to a predetermined set of positions within a respective video image; where for each pair of depth values and video image positions, a mapping point has a distance from the virtual camera position based upon the depth value, and a position based upon the relative positions of the virtual camera and the respective video image position, thereby obtaining a map dataset of mapping points corresponding to the first sequence of video images.

A forward direction line is set on a course, in a virtual game world, on which a player object is allowed to move. An advancing direction at a current position of the player object is determined based on the forward direction line. The advancing direction is determined as a direction in which the player object advances so as to control a movement of a player character in accordance with an acceleration instruction, and a leftward-rightward movement instruction from a player. Consequently, it is possible to assist the player in controlling a direction in which an object operated by the player moves.
