Toy construction element
A toy construction element is disclosed having a body with at least one projection extending therefrom and a plurality of complementary-shaped recesses formed therein. The recesses extend along at least two different axes and are configured for receiving a corresponding projection from like elements so as to allow like construction elements to be interconnected in three dimensions. The projections and/or recesses may be formed with snap-fit interlocking features whereby the element is configured for interlocking engagement with like elements. The snap-fit interlocking features can include complementary locking formations formed on each projection and each recess. The formations are configured to pass over each other as the projection of one element is received in the recess of another element when like elements are assembled, and the recess is at least in part defined by a resilient component that flexes to resist passage of the formations during assembly and disassembly.
TWO PART TOY FIGURINE AND A TOY SYSTEM
A toy figurine having a first part resembling an upper body of a character and a second part resembling a lower body of the character. The first part includes a connection element configured to mate with the mating element of the second part, forming a complete character.
The first part includes two or more switches formed at an outer surface at a lower portion of the first part, and the second part includes a shell having an inner space for receiving at least a lower portion of the first part, and a number of contact pegs smaller than or identical to the number of switches in the first part. The contact pegs are capable of activating a switch, when the first part and the second part are connected, and also not activating the switch, when the first part and the second part are connected.
INTERFACE BLOCK FOR TOY STACKING BLOCK AND RAIL TRACK SYSTEMS
A connector block for an interlocking block system and an interlocking track system includes a first portion having an intermatable track segment of the track system and a second portion having a block interface of the block system, with the track segment offset from the block system. The second portion preferably includes at least two block interfaces of different genders with each configured to mate with elements of the other gender. The underside of the block interface defines a horizontal lower plane without protrusions and defines protrusion-receiving receptacles. An upper block interface defines a horizontal upper plane and includes a plurality of protrusions extending beyond the upper plane and configured to be received in the protrusion-receiving receptacles. The interoperable connector block may include a sloped track segment, and is preferably a body formed of a single material. The connector block is preferably intermatable with Duplo® and Brio® modular components.
System for building a load bearing structure
A system for building a load bearing structure for supporting a compressive load, the system including a plurality of wooden members; wherein a protrusion of a second member is locatable within a recess of a first or third member to interconnect the first and second or third and second members together to form the loading bearing structure, wherein the protrusion is not rotatable within the recess, and; wherein the third member has a recess with a depth greater than the height of the protrusion of the second member such that a cavity is formed between an upper inner wall of the third member and a top portion of the protrusion of the second member when the second and third members are interconnected.
Method for Guiding a User in Creating a Craft, and Crafting System
A method for and system for guiding a user in creating a craft. At least a portion of a selected crafting challenge is displayed on a portion of a display surface which is visible through a crafting surface. A composite guide element is shown on the display surface visible next to the display surface part which is visible through the specific crafting surface and a further composite guide element is also provided at a receptacle corresponding to the displayed composite guide element. It is ensured that the composite guide element and the further composite guide element provide at least two mutually independent instruction components.
Block system
A block may comprise a base comprising a first block side comprising a first side plane and a connective protrusion coupled to the base and extending distally outwardly and substantially perpendicularly from the first side plane. The connective protrusion may comprise a center pillar coupled to the base extending distally outward from the first side plane, a base portion coupled to the center pillar and the base and extending axially and substantially perpendicularly from the center pillar in a first direction, and an overhang portion coupled to the center pillar extending axially and substantially perpendicularly from the center pillar in a second direction opposite the first direction such that there is an overhang space between the first side plane and the overhang portion. The block may further comprise additional connective protrusions, and the connective protrusions of multiple blocks may enable the coupling of such blocks.
TOY BUILDING UNIT
Disclosed herein is a toy building unit for playing capable of folding from a flat position into a three-dimensional hollow position.
Hydrochromic building elements and methods of use
Embodiments of the present disclosure may include a method including assembling at least two building elements together. Embodiments may also include applying a stimulus to at least one of the at least two building elements, the stimulus being capable of changing a color of at least a portion of the one of the at least two building elements. In some embodiments, the at least two building elements may be assembled together prior to applying the stimulus.
Basic connecting block and connecting block group
The application relates to a field of object connection and in particular, relates to a basic connecting block and a connecting block group. The basic connecting block includes a connecting block body, wherein at least one protrusion corner is provided on one side of the connecting block body and same number of inward recesses as the protrusion corner are provided on an opposite side of the connecting block body, and wherein a surface contour of the protrusion corner is consistent with that of the inward recess, the protrusion corners are connected with each other and the inward recesses are communicated with each other.
MODULAR AIRFOIL SYSTEM
A modular wing, adapted to be used on a flying device such as a toy airplane, drone, or other small fixed wing flying device, or form a part of a wind turbine or any other apparatus that requires a wing or blade, that is compatible with all block-based toy systems such as LEGO®, DECOOL® or KAZI®. The modular wing is comprised of a series of modular aerodynamic surfaces that may be suitable for manufacture by a low-cost method such as molding or additive manufacturing such as 3D printing, typically but not necessarily from plastic, to form wing sub elements which, when assembled together, form a wing or blade such as an airplane wing or turbine blade. The modular wing may comprise cambered or symmetric wing shapes. The modular wing may be used in a static display model fully flying aerodynamic aircraft, sailing hydrodynamic boat, or aerodynamic functioning turbine.
