SNAP-LOCK CONSTRUCTION TOY
A snap-lock toy has a body having at least a first end disposed along an axis. A female snap-lock connector has a generally hollow interior extending into the first end of the body. The female snap-lock connector has a bifurcated engagement member that receives a male snap-lock connector having a head, a neck, and a shoulder along the axis. The bifurcated engagement member has first and second female engagement members separated by a slit. Each of the first and second female engagement members respectively have a wall having head, neck, and shoulder engagement regions. The first and second female engagement members elastically deflect from original states upon receiving the male snap-lock connector and return their original states once the head of male snap-lock connector is lodged within the head engagement region.
CONSTRUCTION TOY ELEMENT AND SET
In a first aspect, a construction toy element is provided and includes a body and a first circumferential row of arms extending from the body. The body has an axis, and has a first axial end and a second axial end. A first circumferential row of arms extends from the body. Each arm includes a root end and a free end, and has a first connecting member thereon that is configured for connecting the construction toy element to another construction toy element. The root end projects from the body in a direction that is angled towards one of the first and second axial ends relative to a normal direction to a surface of the body.
Tetradecahedron toy block
A device for one or more toy blocks includes a plurality of main unit bodies. The plurality of main unit bodies may have a same structure, shape and volume. Each of the main unit bodies is a tetradecahedron having six square surfaces and eight regular hexagon surfaces. The six square surfaces may be averagely divided into three groups and eight regular hexagon surfaces may be averagely divided into four groups. Two regular hexagon surfaces in a same group are parallel, and more than two main unit bodies are mutually spliced and/or fixedly connected to constitute a group.
METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM FOR TOY BUILDING BLOCK(S) WITH CHAIN REACTION TRIGGER
The disclosed embodiments are for a method, apparatus, and system for toy building blocks with chain reaction trigger. The blocks are configured to be coupled together in order to build structures with the blocks. The blocks house a trigger mechanism system that when triggered will then actively trigger the adjacent block's trigger mechanism system. Thus, the blocks will disconnect and/or break away from each other in a chain reaction or sequenced manner.
THEMED BUILDING TOY
Embodiments of the invention provide both a new type of building set which, while particularly attractive to girls, is suitable for use with a wide variety of themes and is fun for boys as well. A building set teaches engineering and biology concepts. The set comprises interlocking pieces that users can manipulate and use to build structures. In some embodiments, the elements use two different types of connector, one type requiring a specific orientation of the connected elements and a second type allowing the connection to be made in any orientation. In some embodiments, one connection type, preferably the fixed orientation connector, uses one or more springy element that spring out to interlock with a mating component, and the other type of connection uses a friction fit. In one embodiment, the toy components are suited for forming a tree with interlocking branches and leaf-disks. The elements appeal to girls through use of color and story line. Users can build play scapes that are coordinated through plot, and are interchangeable to inspire creativity. The current invention also employs inventive locking techniques and structural elements.
ASSEMBLED BLOCK SET, ASSEMBLED BLOCK OPERATION DEVICE, AND WEB SYSTEM
To provide a block that makes connection possible even using a flexible material.
The present invention relates to an assembled block set (500) that can be assembled from assembly blocks (100) formed from elastic materials, from rigid materials, or from an elastic material and a rigid material. Through-holes are formed in the assembly blocks (100), and assembly is possible using assembly stick blocks that pass through the through-holes in the blocks (100).
TOY CONSTRUCTION SET
A toy construction set includes at least one rigid peg building element that includes a coupling system that includes at least one peg coupling element; at least one rigid grid building element including a grid coupling system; and at least one flexible panel building element including a panel coupling system. The grid coupling system includes a plurality of coupling elements arranged in a uniform two-dimensional array structure. The coupling elements are configured to couple to a plurality of mating coupling elements of a building element external to the toy figure construction set. The panel coupling system includes at least a panel coupling element configured to be removably attachable to one or more of the grid coupling element of the at least one rigid grid building element and the at least one peg coupling element of the rigid peg building element via a frictional engagement.
Responsive Construction Toy
A responsive construction toy is disclosed. The responsive construction toy, also known as LumenLinks, comprises at least one active rod and at least one connector. The active rod has an optics end and a push-pull transducer. The active rod illuminates with varying intensity and color to signify magnitude and direction of force on the active rod. Three dimensional structures such as trusses, buildings, and towers can be built by connecting active rods and connectors. When a structure is built, the forces on each active rod can be visually interpreted, thus providing an educational toy that has both tangible and concrete elements as well as responsiveness and feedback.
MODULAR TOY AND WRITING INSTRUMENT
A modular combination toy and desktop writing accessory apparatus comprising a plurality of structural elements each having at least one nodal connector portion to which a complementary connector portion of another structural element can be coupled. The structural elements can be assembled into a barrel-like form that is configured with a passageway for carrying a writing component of the invention. The writing component can be a pen, pencil, marker, crayon, eraser or the like. The modular combination toy and writing instrument has multiple functions in playtime as well as in everyday desk-bound activities.
