An assembly unit includes side plate having first coupling member on first side, second coupling member on second side, and third coupling member on each of third and fourth sides, top plate including fourth coupling member and top stud, and bottom plate including fifth coupling member and bottom stud. The first coupling member is engaged with the second coupling member of neighboring side plate. The fourth coupling member is engaged with the third coupling member. The fifth coupling member is engaged with the third coupling member. The first coupling member includes protrusion. The second coupling member includes groove. The protrusion is fitted into the groove of the neighboring side plate. The third coupling member includes thread. Each of the fourth and fifth coupling members includes thread. The fourth and fifth coupling members are engaged with the third coupling member in a screwed manner using the threads.
INSERT-AND-TWIST BUILDING BLOCK STRUCTURE
An insert-and-twist building block structure includes a connection bar and a connection terminal unit. The connection bar has an end from which a combination projection section extends and has a conic shape. The combination projection section has an external circumferential surface formed with a bead ring including multiple raised beads intermittently arranged in a ring configuration. The connection terminal unit includes a connection terminal having an end inward recessed to form a combination cavity in a conic shape. The combination cavity has an internal circumferential surface formed with a groove ring including multiple recessed grooves intermittently arranged in a ring configuration. The recessed grooves each a middle portion forming a deep trough section and two ends each forming a shallow trough section, and a depth is decreased from the deep trough section toward the shallow trough sections.
System of Interlocking Building Blocks
An improved system of interlocking building blocks is provided. The system of interlocking building blocks includes a top block component and a bottom block component that are removably attached to each other to form a modular block with a hollow interior. The hollow interior can interchangeably receive a number of components, for example motors, electronics, and batteries. The exterior of the modular block includes a system of octagonal openings that are shaped to receive an octagonal connector for coupling adjacent modular blocks, or for receipt of flange bearing for an axle for example. Collectively, interlocking blocks can be joined together to build and create a generally limitless number of robust and modular structures and devices.
BUILDING BLOCKS AND CONNECTING STRUCTURES THEREOF
Provided is a building block, comprising a building block body which is in a cubic structure and is composed of one first connecting surface provided with projecting portions and first recessed portions, and five second connecting surfaces. Also provided is a connecting structure of building blocks, in which projecting portions of one said building block are inserted into recessed portions of another said building block. Further provided is connecting structure of building blocks comprising a first building block and a second building block connected with the first building block; wherein a first building block body is composed of one third connecting surface and first recessed portions and five fourth connecting surfaces; a second building block body is composed of one fifth connecting surface and five sixth connecting surfaces. The present invention has advantages that different types of building blocks can be connected together and the connection forms are enriched.
Connecting structures in a modular construction kit
A modular construction kit includes modular construction blocks, each includes at least one interface face. The interface face includes a recess, a plurality of connection apertures disposed proximate to the edge of the recess, and a circular interface receptacle disposed in the center of the recess. The kit also includes modular construction connectors, each includes two opposite sides, wherein each side including a body, a plurality of connection studs extending outwardly from the body, and a protrusion extending outwardly from the body. Some modular construction blocks include predetermined functions. A modular system block includes at least a processor, storage, and wireless communication.

Cube Based Building Block System
A cube (100) has a first hemicube (HI) having a first connector configuration including a post (110) adjacent the vertex (VI) of each of the three faces (A, B, C) and a second hemicube (H2) having a second connector configuration including a channel (105) adjacent the vertex (V2) of each of the three faces (D, E, F). The connector configurations include an array of connectors (105, 110), possibly including an odd number of connectors (105, 110). The channels (105) are flush with and the posts (110) have a same shape of cross sections from the free end to the corresponding planar faces (A, B, C, D, E, F). The channels (105) have polygonal cross sections. The cube (100) is hollow and formed by folding the faces (A, B, C, D, E, F) along pivotably interconnected edges and connecting the remaining faces (A, B, C, D, E, F) by slideable interconnections.
GEOMETRIC CONSTRUCTION PANEL
A panel and a system for use in building a lightweight structure are provided. The panel, made of a film or a sheet capable of being curved or bent with fingers, includes a body in a geometric shape circumscribed by straight or curved edges, and at least one joint formation along the edge for panel connection. The joint formation has tabs separated by at least one gap. Each tab expands bilaterally and proximally from the body at its base, and each gap is positioned along the edge so as to accept the base of the tab. The joint formations along the edges of varied curvatures are alignedly, hingedly, and detachably interlocked with each other by twisting the panels with fingers to individually hook the tab at the gap. The panels are assembled into geometric structures having flat or curved faces.

The present invention relates to a power transmission apparatus for transmitting power between components, and a built-up type toy including the same. The power transmission apparatus comprises: a housing having an operating space formed therein; a connection hole that is open in at least one direction of the housing; a gear assembly that operates in the operating space of the housing and has a connecting link on one end thereof which is exposed to the outside through the connection hole; and a coupling tube for selectively interconnecting two connection holes of the power transmission apparatus and a counterpart power transmission apparatus connected thereto, wherein the connecting link of the power transmission apparatus and a counterpart connecting link are connected and interworked with each other in the interior of the coupling tube.
BUILDING BLOCK AND BUILDING BLOCK SET HAVING THE SAME
A building block includes a main body comprising a plug module and a socket module. The plug module includes a plug body, a plug protruding from one side of the plug body and defining a first chamber, a number of first magnets arranged within the first chamber, and an insulating protrusion formed on a bottom of the first chamber. The socket module includes a socket body defining a second chamber, a number of second magnets arranged within the second chamber, and an insulating recess defined in a bottom of the second chamber. The first magnets and the second magnets are arranged in such a way that the first magnets of one of two building blocks are able to be magnetically connected to the second magnets of the other one of two building blocks.
