HEADER FOR AN AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER HAVING AN INFEED CONVEYOR CONNECTED TO A CENTER KNIFE DRIVE
20190124832 · 2019-05-02 · ·

A header for an agricultural harvester comprising a frame and first and second anteriorly facing, oppositely driven epicyclical cutter bar knife drives connected to the frame. A roller shaft extends between and operatively connects the first and second epicyclical drives. The roller shaft or a drive roller drives rotation of a header infeed conveyor. The anteriorly facing epicyclical knife drives effectively rid themselves of harmful dirt and debris thereby prolonging the service life of the epicyclical knife drives.

DRIVE ARM ASSEMBLY OF A HEADER OF AN AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER HAVING AN ADJUSTABLE SPHERICAL KNIFE HEAD BEARING
20190104677 · 2019-04-11 · ·

A header for a combine harvester comprising a drive arm assembly, bearing assembly and knife head assembly is disclosed. The drive arm assembly includes a drive arm with a proximal end operatively connected to a drive mechanism for reciprocating motion therewith and a distal end opposite the proximal end. The bearing assembly is attachable to the distal end of the drive arm and includes an eccentric hub. The knife head assembly includes a knife head and a housing mounted to the knife head. The housing houses the bearing assembly.

BLADE ARRANGEMENT FOR HAND-HELD POWER TOOL AND CLAMPING MEMBER

Herein a blade arrangement (6) for a hand-held power tool (2) is disclosed. The blade arrangement (6) comprises a driving member (16) configured for being driven to reciprocate along a driving direction (18), an elongated cutting blade body (12), and a clamping member (26). The clamping member (26) is configured to engage with the driving member (16) and the elongated cutting blade body (12) so as to press the driving member (16) against the elongated cutting blade body (12) at least partially in the driving direction (18).

Connecting arrangement for connecting a mower knife drive to a reciprocating mower knife

A connecting arrangement (1) for connecting a mower knife drive to a mower knife (7), that moves back and forth along a knife or X-axis, has a driving element (2) and an output element (3). The driving element (2) connects the connecting arrangement (1) to the mower knife drive. The output element (3) connects the connecting arrangement (1) to the mower knife (7). The driving element (2) and the output element (3) rotate relative to one another about three mutually perpendicular axes of rotation (X, Y, Z). Also, the driving element (2) and output element (3) can be moved relative to one another along at least two of the axes of rotation (Y, Z).

SICKLE BAR DRIVE MOUNT
20180103580 · 2018-04-19 ·

A sickle bar drive mount may include an arm and a sickle bar drive eye. The arm is mountable to a horizontally extending sickle bar. The sickle bar drive eye is to receive a sickle bar drive bearing of a sickle bar drive. The arm may extend along a first horizontal axis parallel to the sickle bar. The sickle bar drive eye is pivotally coupled to the arm for pivotal movement about a second horizontal axis perpendicular to the first axis.

Easily serviceable and removable self-adjusting knife arm and head assembly for a sickle

The knife head mounts to the sickle to hold a plurality of knife sections thereon while allowing removal of the knife sections individually without major disassembly for ease of in field repair and replacement. A knife pin of the knife head connects to a knife arm driven by the sickle drive mechanism and is removable from above also without major disassembly. The knife pin connection provides a vertical self adjustment capability to accommodate sickle wear and vertical misalignment between the sickle and drive. And the knife arm is streamlined for cut plant material flow thereabout and is also adapted for ease of removal and field repair.
