WALK POWER MOWER WITH SLIDABLE HANDLE GRIP MOVABLE ALONG A CURVED PATH FOR CONTROLLING A VARIABLE SPEED TRACTION DRIVE
A walk power mower has a deck with an upwardly and rearwardly extending handle behind which a use walks when operating the mower. The mower is self-propelled by a variable speed traction drive. The handle includes a slidable handle grip for engaging and selecting a speed of the traction drive to control the ground speed of the mower. Forward ground speed is set by pushing the handle grip forwardly on the handle from a neutral position. Reverse ground speed if available is by pulling the handle grip rearwardly from its neutral position. The handle grip follows a curved path as it moves forwardly or rearwardly to flatten the path of travel of the handle grip from the travel that would have occurred absent the curved path.
Transmission for pedestrian-controlled wheeled vehicle and wheeled vehicle equipped with such a transmission
The invention relates to a transmission (2) for a wheeled vehicle, comprising a drive member (3), a rotatable driven member (5) in permanent engagement with the drive member (3), a wheel drive shaft and, disposed between the wheel drive shaft and the driven member (5), a clutch mechanism (8), comprising at least one axially movable part on the wheel drive shaft between a position separated from the driven member (5), corresponding to an activated state of the clutch mechanism (8), and a position close to the driven member (5), corresponding to a deactivated state of the clutch mechanism (8), which is activated by rotating the driven member (5) in a first direction of rotation, referred to as forward drive, and can be deactivated by rotating the driven member (5) in a second direction of rotation opposite to said first direction of rotation, referred to as reverse drive, said part (9) of the clutch mechanism (8) which, in the deactivated state of the clutch mechanism (8), is disposed in a position close to the driven member (5), is, in said position, limited in its axial movement in the direction of a separation from the driven member (5) in the reverse drive state of the driven member (5).
Adjustable handle assembly for a walk-behind mower
A handle adjustment assembly is attached to a walk-behind lawn mower, wherein the handle adjustment assembly is rotatably adjustable relative to a deck of the mower to allow the handle to be adjusted to multiple different heights relative to the ground at distinct operative positions. The handle adjustment assembly is also rotatable to allow the handle to be adjusted to a stored position adjacent to the deck, wherein the mower can be stored in a substantially vertical orientation.
Garden tool and control method thereof
A hand-push garden tool and a control method thereof. The hand-push garden tool comprises a main body, wheel and a handle assembly. The wheels are mounted on the main body, the handle assembly is mounted on the main body. The handle assembly comprises a handle, a first control rod and a second control rod. The first control rod is mounted on the handle and can rotate relative to the handle, the second control rod is mounted on the handle and can rotate relative to the handle, and the first control rod and the second control rod are coaxially arranged. The first control rod and the second control rod of the hand-push garden tool can coaxially rotate and cannot affect each other, the garden tool is convenient, beautiful and clean and tidy, and design spaces are saved.
Dual handle speed adjustment device and lawn mower using same
A dual handle speed adjustment device includes left and right handles, a link and a slider. The left and right handles each have an actuating end, an operating end and a handle hinge as a pivot axis. The slider has a first connection end connected to the actuating ends of the left and right handles, a second connection end connected to a speed control device, and a part between the first and second connection ends hinged to one end of the link, which has the other end thereof provided with a link rotation axis. The left and right handles independently drive the slider to move when they are turned. The invention can realize the separate operation of two speed adjusting handles.
Lawn mower having a reduced uneven distribution of discharged grass clippings
A lawn mower includes a cutter blade that cuts grass, a body portion including a housing containing the cutter blade, and a grass clippings discharge passage that discharges grass clippings cut by the cutler blade from the housing, a grass clippings container that contain grass clippings, and an opening degree adjust valve. The grass clippings discharge passage includes an upstream opening connected to the housing, and a downstream opening for ejecting grass clippings to outside of the body portion. The opening degree adjust valve is provided at the downstream opening of the grass clippings discharge passage and adjusts an opening degree of the downstream opening.

CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC LAWNMOWER AND ELECTRIC LAWNMOWER INCLUDING SAME
An electric lawnmower control system can include a battery, an electric motor configured to rotatably drive a blade, a fan rotatably driven by the electric motor, a printed circuit board, a motor controller, and a housing. The printed circuit board can be fastened to the battery and include a heat sink that is located adjacent to the fan. The motor controller can be mounted on the circuit board, in electrical communication with the battery and the electric motor, thermally coupled to the heat sink, and configured selectively drive the electric motor with electric power supplied by the battery. The housing can include a first side, a second side, and a ventilation passage extending from the first side to the second side. The ventilation passage can be in fluid communication with the fan, and at least a portion of the heat sink is exposed to air flowing through the ventilation passage.
BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ELECTRIC MOWER
A battery management system for a lawnmower that can include a first switch configured to issue a wake-up signal in response to a wake-up input, issue a battery status request signal in response to a battery status input, and issue a shut-down signal in response to a shut-down input. A first controller can be configured to, switch the second switch to an ON state to electrically connect the battery to the electrically powered device when the first controller receives the wake-up signal, cause the display to display information indicative of a status of the battery when the first controller receives the battery status request signal, and switch the second switch to an OFF state to terminate output from the battery to the electrically powered device when the first controller receives the shut-down signal.
Speed control assembly
A mower including a handle assembly, a grip moveable relative to the handle assembly, a sensor operable to generate an output signal based on a position of the grip relative to the handle assembly, a drive assembly, and a controller coupled to the sensor and the drive assembly. The controller receives the output signal and controls the drive assembly according to the output signal.
