The present invention provides a lawn mower for cutting grass and maintaining the lawn surface. The lawn mower has a mower deck, a cutting blade driven by a motor, and a blade changing mechanism. The blade changing mechanism includes a fastener for securing the cutting blade to the motor, a blade securement tool for limiting the cutting blade from rotating, and at least one opening on the mower deck for removably receiving the blade securement tool. An edge guide is also provided on the mower deck. The lawn mower also includes a dynamic power management system configured to adjust a rotation speed of the motor dynamically based on a duty condition of the cutting blade.

Transmission disconnection by wheel rotation for walk-behind machine

A walk-behind machine includes a clutch having a driving state where a motor drives wheels to rotate and an unlocked state where the wheels freely rotate relative to the motor. The clutch includes a movable member and a driving member. The movable member is capable of moving between a locked position where the clutch is in the driving state and an unlocked position where the clutch is in the unlocked state. The driving member transfers power to the wheels by means of friction. When the clutch is in the driving state, the motor drives the wheels to rotate in a first direction, when the motor stops rotating, the wheels rotate in a second direction opposite to the first direction and can drive the driving member to move by frictional force so that the driving member pushes the movable member to move from the locked position to the unlocked position.

Lawn mower

A lawn mower includes a blade assembly configured to perform a cutting function, a deck formed with an accommodation space for accommodating at least a portion of the blade assembly, a motor configured to drive the blade assembly to rotate about a rotation axis, and a battery pack configured to power the motor. The blade assembly includes a first cutting portion configured to cut grass and a second cutting portion configured to cut grass. In the direction parallel to the rotation axis, the second cutting portion is located under the first cutting portion. The battery pack includes a battery pack housing and battery cells provided in the battery pack housing.

Electric working machine capable of determining type of tip tool

An electric working machine includes an attachment portion, a motor, and a controller. Multiple types of tip tools are alternatively attached to the attachment portion. The motor drives the tip tool attached to the attachment portion. The controller has first start control and second start control. The controller is configured to execute the first start control so as to determine the type of the tip tool when not having tool type information, and configured to execute the second start control when having the tool type information.

Portable work apparatus

The disclosure relates to a portable work apparatus. The work apparatus includes a spacer which is arranged on the front housing and has a contact region. The contact region has a maximum distance, as measured radially, with respect to the rotational axis of the output shaft, the distance being greater than the cutting radius of the cutting tool in a first, non-deformed state of the spacer. The spacer is elastically deformable. The spacer is elastically deformed in a second state in such a manner that the maximum distance of the contact region is at most the same size as the cutting radius, and the spacer is arranged completely outside the cutting plane of the cutting tool.

WALK POWER MOWER WITH BIASED HANDLE
20170367258 · 2017-12-28 ·

A walk power mower having a cutting deck supported upon the ground by front and rear wheels. The mower includes a biased handle that permits the handle to be pivotally displaced downwardly, against an upward bias force, during operation. The bias force may be provided by a resilient member that compresses as the handle is displaced downwardly. The compression of the resilient member allows downward movement of the handle without initially producing corresponding upward movement of the front wheels of the mower during rearward pulling of the handle.

WALK POWER MOWER WITH TRANSMISSION PROVIDING BOTH FORWARD AND REVERSE PROPULSION
20170367259 · 2017-12-28 ·

A walk power mower having a cutting deck supported upon the ground by a front and rear wheel(s). The mower includes a traction drive system incorporating a bidirectional transmission adapted to propel the mower alternatively in both forward and reverse directions. In some embodiments, the mower may include a single bidirectional transmission (e.g., powering only rear wheel(s) or only front wheel(s) of the mower), while in other embodiments, two bidirectional transmissions may be provided to power both the front and the rear wheel(s). In other embodiments, the mower may include a bidirectional transmission powering the rear wheel(s), while the front wheel(s) may be attached to the deck via a caster assembly.
