Grass-cutting head
A multi-function grass-cutting head (100), of the type intended to be associated with a motor to rotate around an axis of rotation (X) thereof, including a peripheral area (103) which extends around the axis of rotation (X) and at least one supporting portion (104) for at least one cutting element (105) provided on the peripheral area (103). The head also includes structure (106) for adjusting the angular position of the supporting portion (104) of the at least one cutting element (105), around an axis of adjustment (Y), transverse to the axis of rotation (X) of the head.
Blade mounting structure of lawn mower
A blade mounting structure of a lawn mower includes: a drive hub mounted on an output shaft of a power source and protruding radially outward beyond an outer periphery of the output shaft; a friction member for transmitting driving force from the drive hub to a blade holder, the drive hub and the friction member having respective curved surfaces slidable on each other when the drive hub and the friction member are in abutting engagement with each other; a grass cutting blade attached to the blade holder; and an energy absorbing member disposed in a space defined by the blade holder and members peripheral to the blade holder, the energy absorbing member being constructed to maintain its shape during normal grass cutting condition but deform when a load exceeding a predetermined value acts on the energy absorbing member.
Lawn mower with blade and mounting assembly
A lawn mower includes a blade assembly configured to perform a cutting function, a deck formed with an accommodation space for accommodating at least a portion of the blade assembly, a motor configured to drive the blade assembly to rotate about a rotation axis, and a battery pack configured to power the motor. The blade assembly includes a first cutting portion configured to cut grass and a second cutting portion configured to cut grass. In the direction parallel to the rotation axis, the second cutting portion is located below the first cutting portion. The battery pack includes a battery pack housing and battery cells provided in the battery pack housing.
DISC MULCHER DRIVE SYSTEM
A disc mulcher can be connectable to a carrier vehicle and can include a frame connectable to the skid steer, a spindle, a disc, and a variable speed motor. The spindle assembly can be connected to the frame. The disc can be connected to spindle assembly and can be rotatable relative to the frame about a central axis of the disc and the spindle assembly. The variable speed motor can be connected to the frame and can be indirectly coupled to the spindle assembly. The variable speed motor can be operable to rotate the disc.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MOUNTING A FLAIL MOWER
A method and apparatus for attaching a forward-mounted implement that may allow pivotal movement of the implement around a longitudinal axis to better maintain proper operational height when operating on uneven or sloped terrain. Further provided, the attachment mechanism of the present disclosure may allow for a secure and safe attachment to an associated tractor or other similar vehicle while simultaneously providing for a reduced production cost and less maintenance requirements.
Cutter Head for a Brush Cutter
A cutter head for a brush cutter has a base body with top base body part and bottom base body part. A screw element is arranged at the bottom base body part for attachment to an output shaft of the brush cutter. A receptacle for fastening a cutting tool is provided between top and bottom base body parts. The base body is rotatably driven in operation of the brush cutter about an axis of rotation of the base body. The top and bottom base body parts are held together by a detachable snap-on connection. The snap-on connection is positioned at a distance, measured in a radial direction, from the axis of rotation of the base body. The distance amounts to at most 40% of the cutter head diameter. For releasing the snap-on connection, the top and bottom base body parts are pulled apart from each other by a pulling force.
REMOVABLE INSERT FOR MOWER BLADE AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A mower blade assembly, a mower including such an assembly, and methods of replacing a blade insert of the mower blade assembly are disclosed. The mower blade assembly includes a main body and a blade insert removably attachable to the main body between an operable position and a removed position. One of the main body and the blade insert includes a mounting tab and the other of the main body and the blade insert includes a mounting pocket sized and shaped to receive the mounting tab when the blade insert is in the operable position. The mounting pocket includes an opening being defined by a closed perimeter provided in an end face of the other of the main body and the blade insert. The method includes slidably coupling the blade insert to the main body of the mower blade, and removably securing the blade insert to the main body.
Blade for a Mowing Unit for a Lawnmower and/or a Motor Scythe, Mowing Unit for a Lawnmower and/or a Motor Scythe, and Lawnmower and/or Motor Scythe
A blade for a mowing unit for a lawnmower and/or a motor scythe is substantially parallelogram-shaped. The blade has a slot, wherein the slot is designed to receive a blade-holding element of the mowing unit such that the blade can rotate about the blade-holding element and move in translation relative to the blade-holding element for one cutting position of the blade defined by one end of the slot having one cutting orientation of the blade and another cutting position of the blade defined by another end of the slot having another cutting orientation of the blade. A line segment delimited by the ends of the slot does run non-parallel to sides of the parallelogram, and the parallelogram has an obtuse internal angle.
GARDEN TOOL WITH BLADE COVER
A rotational cutting blade assembly for use with a garden tool. The rotational cutting blade assembly including a frame defining an axis of rotation and including a blade mounting point, where the blade mounting point includes a cutting boundary, and where the cutting boundary is subdivided into at least one access slot and at least one guard. The rotational cutting blade assembly also including a cutting element configured to be attached to the frame at the blade mounting point, where the cutting element includes at least one cutting edge, and where the at least one cutting edge is immediately adjacent the cutting boundary of the blade mounting point when the cutting element is attached thereto.
