A trimmer head having an upper case having a fastening portion formed with an upper fastening hole for coupling the rotating shaft to a center of the upper case; a lower case formed with a lower fastening hole at its center and the lower case being coupled to the upper case; a body portion positioned in a cavity between the upper case and the lower case; and a plurality of cutting means coupled to the body portion so as to be rotatable at one end thereof, wherein the upper case and the lower case are further connected to each other by a plurality of elastic media and are spaced apart by the tension of the elastic medium when the upper case and the lower case are separated from each other.

Crop convergence system for rotary mower

In a rotary mower having ten generally horizontal cutter disks forming a total cutting length along the cutter bar of 16 feet, the discharge opening containing the parallel conditioner rolls and a parallel transfer roll has a width of at least 125 inches. This allows a first outermost one of the ten disks and approximately one half of the next adjacent disk to be mounted on the cutter bar outwardly of the discharge opening. A convergence system then includes only first and second impellers with the first impeller mounted on the first disk for rotation therewith and the second impeller mounted on an upper support above the impeller so that the second impeller hangs downwardly toward the second disk for contacting the cut crop and mounted immediately adjacent with the second impeller having a peripheral edge located at or immediately adjacent the vertical plane of the side of the discharge opening.

BLADES, RECEPTACLES AND SPRING COLLAR CONNECTORS FOR USE WITH ROTARY HEAD TRIMMER ASSEMBLY AND LAWNMOWER
20200352095 · 2020-11-12 ·

A cutting blade for use with a rotary trimmer head assembly configured with one or more swiveling blade receptacles is disclosed. The blade has a trimmer head connecting end portion defining a blade mount aperture adapted to receive the swiveling blade receptacle, and the blade has a cutting end portion. The connecting end portion comprises a spring collar assembly sized and configured to firmly and removably receive and secure a portion of an outer cylindrical surface of the swiveling blade receptacle. The spring collar assembly has a pair of opposing levers having two ends. Each lever has a handle and a curved jaw. The curved jaws define a collar aperture in coaxial alignment with the blade mount aperture. Preferably, the levers are fixedly connected to respective pivot arms radially extending from a pivotal abutment disposed intermediate the two ends of each lever, wherein squeezing together said handles of the levers increases a diameter of the collar aperture.

A working part (13) of a lawnmower (10) includes a disk (20) rotatably supported by a main body of the lawnmower and configured to be rotated by a power source (15), a blade (36) having a base end portion (46) rotatably attached to an outer peripheral part of the disk via a pivot shaft (32) and a free end portion (47) configured to protrude radially outward from an outer peripheral edge of the disk, and a blade guard (37) having a base end portion (51) rotatably supported by the pivot shaft and a free end portion (52) overlying the free end portion of the blade.

Cutter head for a brushcutter
10779466 · 2020-09-22 · ·

A cutter head for a brushcutter has a base member with top and bottom base member parts and rotates about an axis of rotation in operation. The top base member part is fixed to the brushcutter shaft end. The bottom base member part is screwed by a screw element to the shaft end. A bearing element is arranged in the base member radially spaced to the axis of rotation. A cutting tool is secured by the bearing element to the base member between top and bottom base member parts. The bearing element is secured either to bottom or top base member part and arranged relative to the other one such that the bearing element is constructively unhindered to move relative to the other base member part at least circumferentially and such that the bottom base member part for mounting or demounting is rotatable relative to the top base member part.

Bush hog cutting and threshing blade
10757858 · 2020-09-01 ·

A cutting and threshing blade for a bush hog, wherein the blade has a trailing edge and a leading edge. At least a third of the leading edge of the upper-side of an elongate distal portion of the blade has a knife edge with a knife length that thickens toward the trailing edge. The trailing edge can have an upward air deflector. The bottom-side of the elongate distal portion has a threshing element, which includes a threshing block, which is a steel block having a block length that is comparable to the knife length and projects downward and substantially parallel to the knife edge. The rotating blades pummel growth carriers (i.e.; cob, husk) bearing seeds, grains, and kernels with enough force that they are released. The synergistic rotating knife edge and threshing block transform the bush hogging process from a cutting process to a cutting and threshing process.
