MOWER WITH A CONTROLLER DEVICE
A mower includes a main body having an electric motor configured to drive a mowing member, a pair of front wheels, and a pair of rear wheels. A supporting portion is associated with the main body and a handle is connected to the main body and rotatable between a first position and a second position. The handle comprises an operation assembly operable by a user to control the electric motor. A controller prevents the electric motor from being activated by a user operation of the operation assembly when the mower is in a first state in which the supporting portion and the pair of rear wheels are used to support the main body on a supporting surface with the handle in the first position.
Lawn mower with deck lift system that raises and lowers deck with respect to frame and handle control assembly
A lawn mower .[.is provided. In certain example embodiments, the lawn mower.]. includes an improved steering control system/assembly and/or an improved pump control linkage system/assembly. .[.In certain example embodiments, the.]. .Iadd.The .Iaddend.mower includes an engine deck supporting an engine that drives the at least one blade for cutting grass, the engine deck also supporting a first hydraulic pump that controls the right rear drive wheel and a second hydraulic pump that controls the left rear drive wheel. A deck lift system is for raising/lowering the engine deck relative to both a frame of the mower and a handle control assembly.
ADJUSTABLE HANDLE ASSEMBLY FOR A WALK-BEHIND MOWER
A handle adjustment assembly is attached to a walk-behind lawn mower, wherein the handle adjustment assembly is rotatably adjustable relative to a deck of the mower to allow the handle to be adjusted to multiple different heights relative to the ground at distinct operative positions. The handle adjustment assembly is also rotatable to allow the handle to be adjusted to a stored position adjacent to the deck, wherein the mower can be stored in a substantially vertical orientation.
STRING TRIMMER WITH POLE BREAK
The invention is directed to an outdoor device, preferably a string trimmer, having a hinged pole for folding the string trimmer. The hinge has an easy to use lock that allows for repeated folding of the trimmer for easy transport and storage. The string trimmer has a battery at a rear end of the pole near the handle, and a motor at a front end on the cutting head. An electrical cable is run from the battery to the motor to provide power to the motor. The hinge provides a protective sheath around the cable to protect it from damage when the string trimmer is folded and the cable might otherwise be exposed. Additionally, the string trimmer includes a guard around the cutting head that contacts a battery housing to secure the string trimmer in a folded position.
Hand- guided work apparatus
A hand-guided work apparatus has a handle having a first and a second operator-controlled element pivotably mounted thereon. The handle surrounds a guide tube. The first element can activate a motor. The guide tube defines a central plane containing a longitudinal axis. The plane is oriented parallel to a first axis of the first element. The first element projects out of the handle on a first side of the plane. The second element is pivotably mounted on a first and a second pivot bearing arranged on opposite sides of the plane. The tube projects through an opening in the second element. A third operator-controlled element can pivot about a third axis. In its actuated position, the third element holds the second element in its actuated position via a holder. The second axis of the second element lies in a plane extending perpendicular to a fourth axis of the holder.
AUTONOMOUS MACHINE NAVIGATION AND TRAINING USING VISION SYSTEM
Autonomous machine navigation techniques may generate a three-dimensional point cloud that represents at least a work region based on feature data and matching data. Pose data associated with points of the three-dimensional point cloud may be generated that represents poses of an autonomous machine. A boundary may be determined using the pose data for subsequent navigation of the autonomous machine in the work region. Non-vision-based sensor data may be used to determine a pose. The pose may be updated based on the vision-based pose data. The autonomous machine may be navigated within the boundary of the work region based on the updated pose. The three-dimensional point cloud may be generated based on data captured during a touring phase. Boundaries may be generated based on data captured during a mapping phase.
Pivoting handle assembly
According to examples, a machine may include a base housing and a handle assembly mounted to the base housing and extending at an angle from the base housing along a handle plane. The handle assembly may include a mating component having a plurality of slots arranged at multiple angular positions along a slot plane, the slot plane being parallel to the handle plane. The mating assembly may also include a handle segment rotatably mounted to the mating component, the handle segment housing a locking member, in which the handle segment is rotatable along the slot plane relative to the base housing and the locking member is removably insertable into a first slot of the plurality of slots when the handle segment is in a first angular position and is removably inserted into a second slot of the plurality of slots when the handle segment is in a second angular position.
Handle assembly for garden tool and garden tool having same
A handle assembly for a garden tool includes a housing having a gripping portion defining an extension direction, the housing defining a cavity for detachably mounting a battery pack, the battery pack being configured to be inserted into the cavity along the extension direction of the gripping portion. A related garden tool includes a link assembly; a working mechanism arranged at one end of the link assembly; and a power mechanism arranged at the other end of the link assembly. The power mechanism includes a gasoline engine with an electric starting system having a starting motor powered by the battery pack.
CONTACTLESS SWITCH FOR A LAWNMOWER
A lawnmower comprising a housing, one or more cutting blades, and a motor configured to rotate the one or more cutting blades. The lawnmower includes a handle including a switch assembly. The switch assembly includes a contactless switch pivotable about an axis point and a magnet located at the axis point. One or more paddles extend from the handle. The rotation of the one or more paddles causes the contactless switch to pivot about the axis point. The lawnmower includes a sensor configured to sense a variation of a magnetic field of the magnet, and a controller coupled to the motor and the sensor. The controller is configured to receive, from the sensor, a value associated with the variation of the magnetic field of the magnet, and control the motor based on the value of the variation of the magnetic field.
Adjustable Seat Assembly with Operator Controls for Riding Vehicles
Systems and mechanisms for facilitating concurrent positional adjustments of a seat with one or more steering controllers along a longitudinal direction of a vehicle, are disclosed. The embodiments provide a mechanism by which operators of a wide range of body types may comfortably occupy and use vehicles configured with lap bar controls, such as zero-turn radius mowers. In one example, the seat and steering controllers are both mounted on a support structure that is configured to be movable relative to a chassis of the vehicle.
