APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DRYING AND STYLING HAIR
Apparatus for drying and styling hair, comprising: first and second mutually-opposing arms adapted for movement between an open configuration for receiving a length of wet hair therebetween and a closed configuration adjacent the hair, such that, in use, when the arms are in the closed configuration they form an inter-arm chamber across which the hair passes, and wherein an airflow conduit is provided within and along at least one of the first and second arms; and means for delivering a flow of air along the conduit in the at least one of the first and second arms, and subsequently into the inter-arm chamber. Also provided is a method of drying (and optionally simultaneously styling) hair using such apparatus.

HAIR TREATMENT METHOD AND HAIR HOLDER
A hair treatment method for curling a lock of hair using a hair holder. The hair holder includes a tubular body which has an opening located at a first end and an opening located at a second end of the tubular body, and configured to allow a lock of hair be inserted from the first end opening of the tubular body toward the second end opening and to be capable of being rolled up. The method includes inserting a lock of hair into the hair holder, rolling up the tubular body together with the lock of hair inserted therein, so that the number of turns of the lock of hair is less than one, and curling the lock of hair in this wound state. A hair holder in which the tubular body is configured to be wound less than one turn is suitably used in this hair treatment method.

HAIRSTYLING DEVICE
A hairstyling device is provided. The hairstyling device includes a heatable hair contact member having a hair-contactable surface, the hair contact member being operable to apply heat to a tress of hair of a user via the hair-contactable surface. The hairstyling device includes a controller configured to determine that the hair contact member is moving along the tress from a first end of the tress towards a second end of the tress. The controller is configured to, based on the determining, control heating of the hair contact member to cause the operating temperature of the hair contact member to change as the hair contact member moves along the tress from the first end of the tress towards the second end of the tress.
