Embodiments provide an orally administered substance that contains cannabis and nicotine for medicinal and recreational purposes.

The present disclosure relates to tobacco products, including methodology, devices and compositions, for assisting a smoker to transition from conventional tobacco cigarettes to either e-cigarettes or a tobacco heating device. Provided herein are methodology for switching, along with kits, products and apparatuses.

A pouched product adapted for release of a releasable component therefrom is provided herein. The pouched product can include a water-permeable fabric pouch formed so as to define a cavity therein, and a composition contained within the cavity of the water-permeable fabric pouch, the composition including one or more releasable components that are released from the composition under mouth conditions and that are capable of movement through the water-permeable fabric pouch. The composition includes nicotine and at least one particulate non-tobacco material. The pouched product also includes at least one capsule contained within the cavity of the water-permeable fabric pouch, the capsule having a capsule wall surrounding an inner payload comprising at least one botanical.

Meltable compositions configured for oral use, the compositions including at least one cannabinoid or cannabimimetic, are provided. The compositions include one or more fillers, typically a sugar alcohol, and a lipid. A method of forming such compositions is also provided.

A preformed cartridge includes a tube. The tube has a length and diameter. The length is greater than the diameter. A plant component is sized to fit within the tube. The plant component is formed from a hardened slurry. The plant component is securely lodged within the tube. The plant component is a plant slurry injected into the tube while wet or can be a plant slurry pre-hardened in a mold before mounting inside the herb tube. The plant component further includes a heater insertion opening and a flow channel. The heater insertion opening is in communication with a flow channel. The flow channel extends along the length of the tube, and the heater insertion opening is parallel to the flow channel.

Generating a printable inhalant solution may include selecting identifiers for one or more identified chemicals and creating, for each identified chemical, a chemical specification that includes at least a quantity of the chemical. The chemical specifications in the aggregate may include a chemical signature of the selected identified chemicals. Further, a printable solution may be mechanically printed onto a predetermined flammable base substrate.

An encapsulated flavorant or artificial sweetener for use with smokeless tobacco and related products. The encapsulated flavorant or artificial sweetener comprises a core encapsulated with a lipid-based coating that provides stability when in contact with tobacco, yet releases flavor over time when the product is used. The core comprises a carrier, such as silica, tobacco, beet fiber, citrus fiber, artificial sweetener, or the like, coated or loaded with a flavorant. Flavor loading may be in the range of approximately 10% to 60%, by weight. Flavorants include, but are not limited to, methyl salicylate (oil of wintergreen), cinnamon (e.g., cinnamon oil), peppermint (e.g., peppermint oil), and spearmint (oil of spearmint).

A tobacco product reduces or mitigates some of the negative effects of tobacco consumption, particularly cancer development. The tobacco product contains (a) nicotine, (b) at least one of an isothiocyanate or isothiocyanate precursor, (c) myrosinase and (d) a synthetic isothiocyanate. The product can further include at least one of thymoquinone, resveratrol, synthetic vitamin C, thymoquinone resveratrol and a synthetic vitamin C.

Provided is a solid homogeneous composition comprising at least one cannabinoid and a carrier having at least two of: (i) a total cannabinoid concentration greater than 5%; (ii) being in comminuted particle form, wherein at least 70 wt % of said particles are of size greater than 0.3 millimeter and less than 4.2 millimeters; (iii) comprising less than 20 wt % water; (iv) said carrier comprising cellulose; (v) said carrier comprises less than 50% by weight cannabis or hemp non-cannabinoid plant material, wherein said composition is suitable for providing cannabinoid via inhalation. A meltable smokeless tobacco composition configured for insertion into the mouth of a user is provided. The smokeless tobacco composition includes a tobacco material and a lipid having a melting point of about 36° C. to about 45° C. An associated process is also provided. The process includes melting a lipid having a melting point of about 36° C. to about 45° C. to form a molten lipid composition, mixing a tobacco material with the molten lipid composition to form a molten smokeless tobacco composition, and cooling the molten smokeless tobacco composition to form a solidified smokeless tobacco composition.
