Cannabinoid Formulations for Aerosol Devices and Methods Thereof
The disclosure provides methods, formulations, and apparatus for making and using cannabinoid formulations.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS
The present invention provides an amorphous solid for use in aerosol generation, the amorphous solid comprising: about 1 to about 50 wt % constituent, derivative or extract of cannabis; about 10 to about 80 wt % aerosol-former material; gelling agent, the gelling agent comprising cellulose or a derivative thereof, and a non-cellulosic gelling agent; and optionally filler, wherein the amount of gelling agent and optional filler taken together is from about 10 to about 60 wt %; wherein the wt % values are calculated on a dry weight basis.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS
The present invention provides an aerosol-generating material for use in aerosol generation, the aerosol-generating material comprising: about 10 to about 50 wt % caffeine; about 15 to about 60 wt % gelling agent; and about 10 to about 50 wt % aerosol-former material; wherein the wt % values are calculated on a dry weight basis.
AEROSOL GENERATION
An aerosol-generating composition including an amorphous solid, the amorphous solid having : (a) aerosol generating agent in an amount of from about 25 to 80 wt% of the amorphous solid; (b) one or more gelling agents selected from cellulosic gelling agents, guar gum, acacia gum and mixtures thereof; (c) filler in an amount of at least about 15 wt% of the amorphous solid; and (d) optionally, active substance; wherein the amount of gelling agent and filler taken together is from about 20 to 75 wt% of the amorphous solid.
Enhanced Herbal Smoking Blend
The disclosed embodiments relate generally to herbal smoking blends and methods for preparing and using herbal smoking blends. Some embodiments relate to a method of preparing an herbal smoking blend, comprising providing a smoking herb preparation comprising cannabis, providing a terpenoid solution comprising at least one terpenoid, providing one or more mercaptans or one or more flavonoids, and adding the terpenoid solution and adding the one or more mercaptans or the one or more flavonoids to the smoking herb preparation. Other embodiments are also included within the scope of the invention.
NOVEL AEROSOL-GENERATING SUBSTRATE COMPRISING MATRICARIA SPECIES
A heatable aerosol-generating article is provided, including: an aerosol-generating substrate, including a homogenised chamomile material, the homogenised chamomile material including at least 2.5 percent by weight of chamomile particles on a dry weight basis, an aerosol former, and a binder, at least 20 micrograms of bisabolol oxide A per gram of the aerosol-generating substrate, on a dry weight basis, at least 100 micrograms of tonghaosu isomers per gram of the aerosol-generating substrate, on a dry weight basis, and at least 15 micrograms of alpha-bisabolol per gram of the aerosol-generating substrate, on a dry weight basis; and at least one hollow tube immediately downstream of the aerosol-generating substrate. An aerosol-generating system, including an aerosol-generating device including a heating element, and a heatable aerosol-generating article, is also provided.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS
An amorphous solid for use in aerosol generation, the amorphous solid including about 1 to about 12 wt % constituent, derivative or extract of Cannabis; about 10 to about 80 wt % aerosol-former material; gelling agent; and optionally filler, wherein the amount of gelling agent and optional filler taken together is from about 10 to about 60 wt %; wherein the wt % values are calculated on a dry weight basis.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS
The present invention provides an amorphous solid for use in aerosol generation, the amorphous solid comprising: about 1 to about 50 wt % cannabidiolic acid (CBDA); about 10 to about 80 wt % aerosol-former material; gelling agent; and optionally filler, wherein the amount of gelling agent and optional filler taken together is from about to about 60 wt %; wherein the wt % values are calculated on a dry weight basis.
Process for Applying Additives To Aerosol Generating Substrates and Products Made Therefrom
A process is disclosed for incorporating additives into aerosol generating products. During the process, an additive is incorporated into an aerosol modifying composition. An aerosol generating filler is contacted with the aerosol modifying composition and the additive is uniformly incorporated into the substrate. In one application, a cannabidiol is incorporated into a tobacco filler or a cannabaceae filler.
Oral products with improved binding of active ingredients
The disclosure provides products configured for oral use, the products including compositions comprising a filler component including negatively charged groups and an active ingredient including positively charged groups. The active ingredient can be retained by the filler component at least in part through bonding between the negatively charged groups and the positively charged groups such that active ingredient may be release from the product when positioned within an oral cavity of a consumer.
