INTELLIGENT HARD HAT
Implementations of an intelligent hard hat are provided. In some implementations, the intelligent hard hat comprises a hard hat or hard hat shell and one or more of a lighting component, an audio component, a video component, a communication component, a conditioning component, a power source component, and/or a control component or computer system.
In some implementations, a method of using the intelligent hard hat comprises a lineman putting on the intelligent hard hat. In some implementations, the method comprises the lineman working on an overhead utility line while wearing the intelligent hard hat. In some implementations, the method comprises the lineman using one or more features of the intelligent hard hat while working on the overhead line.
Headlamp
A headlight device that can be mounted to a surgical face shield, helmet, or other type of headgear with dual-sided peel and stick adhesive or magnets allowing for various mounting locations.
SAFETY HELMET TO BE USED BY A PERSON IN LOW LIGHT CONDITIONS AND MONITORING PROCEDURE ASSOCIATED
A safety helmet to be used by a person in low light conditions, includes: a cap, to cover the person's head; a wing, which surrounds the entire perimeter of the bottom of the cap; and a visor, which corresponds to a projection of the wing on the front of the cap. The cap also includes a belt, which surrounds the perimeter of the lower part of the cap, over the wing and the visor, which in turn includes at least one front lighting module; at least one rear lighting module; at least two side lighting modules, arranged on each side of the rear lighting module; at least one accelerometer; at least one controller element, which controls the operation of the front, rear and side lighting modules and the accelerometer; and at least one button to control the operation of the front, rear and side lighting modules.
Hard hat lamp attachment system
A hard hat with symmetric front and back mounting ridges to support a headlamp is described. The hard hat provides mounting ridges to receive insertion slots of a rigid mounting bracket that fit around the ridges. The rigid mounting bracket includes channels to loop a strap through the channels and support a lamp on the bracket. The strap may include a hook and loop fastener system to enable attachment of a variety of lamps to the rigid support bracket. In this way, the hard hat can support a wide variety of headlamps attached to the rigid mounting bracket without destructive alterations to the hard hat. Clips may be added to the rigid mounting bracket to secure or lock the bracket in place during operation and prevent accidental knocks or jarring of the headlamp.

Hands-free headlamp system
A hands-free headlamp system for an item of headwear, the hands-free headlamp system including: a housing including headwear fastener, the headwear fastener configured to attach to the item of headwear an energy storage affixed to the housing; a light source mechanically coupled to the housing and electrically coupled to the energy storage; a motion sensor mechanically coupled to the housing and electrically coupled to the energy storage, the motion sensor configured to detect hand motion of a user; a controller mechanically coupled to the housing, electrically coupled to the energy storage, and communicably coupled to the motion sensor, the controller configured to operate the light source in response to detected hand motions of the user.
Ballistic helmet
Implementations of a ballistic helmet are provided. The ballistic helmet comprises two armor plates, each armor plate can be positioned to cover an ear of a wearer and thereby provide ballistic protection. In some implementations, the ballistic helmet may further comprise two earcup adapters, each earcup adapter is configured to be mounted on an interior side of an armor plate and to allow an attached earcup to rotate thereon. In this way, each earcup may be comfortably positioned over an ear of the wearer and thereby attenuate sound.
SMART SAFETY APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD
The disclosed device, system, and method may comprise one or more devices for digital personal protective equipment. These devices may be network enabled wearables. A plurality of sensors, data transmission mechanisms, self-illuminating LEDs, and communication mechanisms may be embedded in a suspension or harness in various embodiments. A number of sensors may likewise be provided in a glove or earbud (ear plug). The device may measure various aspects of a wearer's movement and transmit that data over a data connection (such as a wifi or mobile connection) to a server. The server may house project and human resources data, worker and condition information, and materials and supplies data, according to various examples of embodiments. The system may further comprise one or more applications which may interpret the data provided.
Method and apparatus for attaching a light to a head-worn device
Provided is a light attached to a helmet where the light does not move when a face shield of the helmet is rotated up or down.
Flashlight with rear-facing signal light and modular integrated mount system
Flashlight having modular mount system with integral mount element on the flashlight body and/or having programmable rear-facing signal lights.
