A hinge plate is attached to the shell on each side and includes a moving pivot socket into which a hub of the shield is rotatably disposed for hinged movement and rearward movement of the shield between the raised and lowered positions.
Visor assembly with unique plate
A helmet is provided which includes a helmet shell defining a cavity. The helmet shell has left and right helmet mounting sections defined on left and right sides thereof, and the helmet includes a visor mounting system comprising a primary visor connector made of a single piece and adapted for connection with the left and right helmet mounting sections. The helmet further has a primary visor removably and pivotally connected to the primary visor connector and adapted to pivot about a primary pivot axis.
Helmet
A helmet has a helmet shell and a visor pivotally connected to the helmet shell. First and second helmet electrical contacts are attached at both sides of the helmet and are adapted for electrically connecting to an electrical power source. First and second visor electrical contacts are attached to each side of the visor. The first and second visor electrical contacts are in contact with the first and second helmet electrical contacts respectively, at at least one position of the pivoting visor. First and second electrical wires are electrically connected to the first and second visor electrical contacts respectively.
Reinforced face protection accessories for hard hats
A face protection accessory (110) for assembly with a protective helmet (100) to protect a wearer (300) during a cut-off tool kickback event, wherein the accessory (110) comprises a U-shaped supporting frame (115) extending between left and right temple anchoring points (120l, 120r), via left and right check-bone portions (130l, 130r) arranged on either side of the U-shaped supporting frame (115), and a chin portion (140) arranged at a distal end of the accessory (110), where the temple anchoring points (120l, 120r) are configured to attach to the protective helmet (100), and wherein at least a first guard bar (150) extends transversal to the U-shaped supporting frame (115) between the left and the right check-bone portions (130l, 130r).
Helmet mounted visor assembly
A visor assembly for a helmet includes a helmet cover configured to couple to a helmet, a visor pivotably coupled to the helmet cover and configured to selectively pivot between a stowage position and one or more usage positions relative to the helmet cover, and a latching mechanism coupled to the visor. The latching mechanism includes a first pawl configured to rotate between a locked position and an unlocked position. The latching mechanism is further configured to releasably lock the visor in one or more of the stowage position and the one or more usage positions.
CONFIGURABLE HELMET
At least one embodiment relates to a configurable helmet comprising a shell, a padding portion coupled to the shell and comprising a first portion and a second portion, and a gap section disposed between these two portions. A spring is coupled at a first end to the first portion and at a second end to the second portion allowing for movement of the second portion with respect to the first portion to allowing size adjustment to fit a person's head. There can be an occipital pad coupled to the padding section, the occipital pad having an expanded portion for extending below an occipital bone on a person when they are wearing the helmet. There can be a visor adapter which is configured to secure a visor to a helmet, and having a clip configured to secure the visor adapter to said shell of the helmet.
Head protection gear
Head protection gear is disclosed. The head protection gear according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: an outer frame having a frame opening that is open at the front side thereof; a sub-visor which partially covers the front side of the outer frame and which is movably coupled to the outer frame; support members, each being coupled to the outer frame and the sub-visor so as to movably support the sub-visor; and a movable member which is movably coupled to the support member, and which is coupled to the sub-visor so as to be movable together with the sub-visor, wherein the movable member can move between a first position at which the sub-visor opens the frame opening, and a second position at which the sub-visor at least partially covers the frame opening.
