HELMET WITH ASSOCIATED ROTATION OF CHIN GUARD AND FACE MASK
The invention discloses a helmet with associated rotation of a chin guard and a face mask, comprising a helmet body, wherein the face mask and the chin guard are symmetrically hinged to a mounting groove at a side surface of the helmet body, the mounting groove is provided with a face mask rotation limiter, a face mask mount, a linkage guide annular piece connected with the face mask mount, a driving rod matched with the annular groove on the linkage guide annular piece, a chin guard mount connected with the driving rod via hinging pieces, and a chin guard rotation guide clamped on the driving rod and the chin guard mount, wherein a double-track guide groove for guiding the rotation of the chin guard is formed in the chin guard rotation guide, and the hinging pieces provided at two ends of the driving rod respectively pass through the double-track guide groove and are connected with the chin guard mount; wherein the face mask rotation limiter is mounted on the mounting groove by a connector, and the linkage guide annular piece is hinged with the chin guard rotation guide by a first rotating shaft; and the chin rotation guide is connected with the mounting groove by a connector.
Safety helmet with lift-able touch-less visor for social distancing
The present invention is a safety helmet with two rounded safety visors. The back visor is fixed, the front visor—movable up and down. This new safety helmet with lift-able front visor and fixed back visor enables people to socialize, while reducing risk of getting infected by Covid-19 virus or other airborne viruses. The lifting of the front visor could be achieved with a help of a handle or other means.
Visor and combination thereof with a protective helmet
Visor for a protective helmet, having two retaining arms and two bearing devices for the retaining arms which are attached to a helmet shell of a helmet in order to pivot the visor between two end positions corresponding to an operational position and a parked position in which the visor is folded up and is disposed on the outer surface of the helmet shell. The visor is provided with a soft lip, preferably made from TPU or TPE, at the location where it comes into contact with the helmet shell in the end positions. When the visor is manually activated to pivot out of an end position, the visor is accelerated by resilient pretensioning in the direction of the other end position until the lip is in contact with the helmet shell substantially without recoil. The lip damps the movement momentum of the visor and additionally has a sealing function.
HINGEPLATE MECHANISM
A closed face motorcycle helmet includes a shell with an eyeport and a shield attached for hinged or pivoted motion between a closed or lowered position covering and sealing the eyeport and an open position or raised position displaced above the eyeport. A hinge plate is attached to the shell on each side and includes a moving pivot socket into which a hub of the shield is rotatably disposed for hinged movement and rearward movement of the shield between the raised and lowered positions.
Welding helmet
A welding helmet (1) has a protective shield (2) and a first swivel mechanism (10) that pivotally connects the protective shield with a head suspension system (6) for swiveling about a swivel axis. The first swivel mechanism enables the protective shield and the head suspension system to be swiveled between a lowered position, in which the protective shield covers a wearer's face, and an upraised position, in which the protective shield uncovers the wearer's face. The first swivel mechanism (10) has a recess (16a) and a retainer (17a) for engaging with the recess. The retainer and the recess are arranged to engage with each other in the upraised position, and to remain disengaged in the lowered position and between the lowered position and the upraised position.
Pivoting shield assembly for hat
A pivoting shield assembly for hats is revealed. The pivoting shield assembly includes mounting slots arranged at two sides of a hat, a pivot base mounted to each mounting slot, a first connecting rod and a second connecting rod each of which having one end pivotally connected to the pivot base and the other end pivotally mounted to a shield, and a pathway groove disposed on an inner side of the first connecting rod. The pivot base includes an elastic locking piece which is mounted and moveable in the pathway groove correspondingly. Thereby lifting up and pulling down of the shield are more precise and having different stages. The pivoting shield assembly for hats is practical.
In-molded helmet chinbar
A helmet includes a shell having an interior surface, a padding disposed along the interior surface of the shell, and a chinbar. The padding defines a first engagement surface positioned at a first lateral side of the padding and a second engagement surface positioned at an opposing second lateral side of the padding. The chinbar includes a cage, a first flange, and a second flange. The cage includes a first end defining a third engagement surface and a second end defining a fourth engagement surface. The third engagement surface interfaces with the first engagement surface and the fourth engagement surface interfaces with the second engagement surface. The first flange extends from the first end of the cage. The second flange extends from the second end of the cage. The first flange and the second flange of the chinbar are embedded within the padding.
Headwear with a protective shield
A headwear includes a hat having two connection portions formed to two opposite sides of the hat. Two connectors are respectively connected to the two connection portions of the hat by two respective first end parts thereof. Two first arms are respectively and pivotably connected between two respective second end parts of the two connectors and a protective shield. Two second arms are respectively and pivotably connected between two respective second end parts of the two connectors and the protective shield. The first and second arms form a link mechanism to smoothly pivot the protective shield between its operation position and its folded position relative to the hat.
Cranial protection cell
IMPROVEMENTS INTRODUCED IN A CRANIAL PROTECTION CELL, formed by an outer shell (11, 20) internally coated by absorbent material (12, 12′), said material comprising a first layer (21) immediately below the shell, of closed cell foam, rigid or semi-rigid in contact with a second layer (22) of open cell viscoelastic foam, the interface between said first and second layers being provided with interdigitations comprising cavities (24) in said first layer in which protrusions (23), provided in said second layer, fit in a complementary and cooperative manner. Absorbent supporting material are further provided in the jaw region (32), maxillary regions (33, 34) and mastoid regions. When closed, the visor (37) is embedded in the corresponding opening of the cranial protection cell, and its opening occurs in two steps, the former comprising forward movement, and the latter upward rotation. The cranial protection cell (CPC) further comprises a removable chin guard (54) whose unlocking mechanism is driven by buttons (51) located on either side of the shell.
Helmet
A helmet has a helmet shell and a visor pivotally connected to the helmet shell. The helmet further has an electrical device attached to one of the visor and the helmet shell. First and second helmet electrical contacts are attached at both sides of the helmet and are adapted for electrically connecting to an electrical power source. First and second visor electrical contacts are attached to each side of the visor and are electrically connected to the electrical device. The first and second visor electrical contacts are pivotally connected to the helmet shell about first and second pivot axes respectively. The first and second visor electrical contacts are in contact with the first and second helmet electrical contacts respectively, at at least one position of the pivoting visor.
