Head-mounted welding mask
The present disclosure provides a head-mounted welding mask, which includes a mask shell, a head-mounted mechanism, and a flip device, the flip device includes a knob which is connected to the mask shell, a link mechanism which is connected to the knob, and a base which is connected to the head-mounted mechanism, the link mechanism is disposed on the base, when the knob is moved, the knob drives the link mechanism to reciprocate in an arc, so that the mask shell flips relative to the head-mounted mechanism, and the barycenter of the mask shell moves into a predetermined range that is determined based on the gravity line where the barycenter of the head-mounted mechanism is located. The flip device changes the position of the barycenter of the mask shell through the movement of the link mechanism, so that the barycenter of the mask shell moves into a predetermined range that is determined based on the gravity line where the barycenter of the head-mounted mechanism is located. And reduces the pressure on welder's head after the mask shell is flipped up.
HELMET
Sealability between a helmet and a shield is improved. The helmet includes a main hat body, a shield, and a seal member. The main hat body is substantially spherical and includes an aperture window that opens forward to provide a field of view to a wearer. The shield is connected to a pair of turning mechanisms protruding from two side faces of the main hat body, and is movable between a closed position at which the shield is located so as to close off the aperture window and an open position at which the shield is located so as to open the aperture window. When the shield is at the closed position, the seal member seals a gap between an upper edge of the shield and an upper edge of the aperture window of the main hat body from a vicinity of one of the turning mechanisms to a vicinity of another of the turning mechanisms. An upper end portion of the shield is inflected toward the main hat body at least at upper edges of left and right end portion vicinities of the seal member.
Helmet, mounting system for a helmet and method of using same
A helmet is provided. The helmet includes a helmet shell and a mounting system laterally positioned on the helmet shell. The helmet further includes a visor removably and pivotally connected to the mounting system, the visor being movable between lowered and raised positions. Finally, the helmet includes a peak removably connected to the mounting system, the mounting system being operable to disengage the visor and the peak upon manual operation thereof. A mounting system for customizing a helmet is also provided. Finally, a method of configuring the helmet is provided.
IN-MOLDED HELMET CHINBAR
A helmet includes a shell having an interior surface, a padding disposed along the interior surface of the shell, and a chinbar. The padding defines a first engagement surface positioned at a first lateral side of the padding and a second engagement surface positioned at an opposing second lateral side of the padding. The chinbar includes a cage, a first flange, and a second flange. The cage includes a first end defining a third engagement surface and a second end defining a fourth engagement surface. The third engagement surface interfaces with the first engagement surface and the fourth engagement surface interfaces with the second engagement surface. The first flange extends from the first end of the cage. The second flange extends from the second end of the cage. The first flange and the second flange of the chinbar are embedded within the padding.
Helmet with accessory attachment rail
A protective helmet has an outer shell configured for surrounding a head of a user and at least one accessory attachment rail connected to the outer shell. The accessory attachment rail has a body having a front end, a rear end, and one or more slots between the front end and the rear end. Each of the one or more slots is configured for removably receiving at least one helmet accessory. A locking mechanism is associated with each of the one or more slots for automatically locking the at least one helmet accessory in the one or more slots upon insertion of the at least one helmet accessory within the one or more slots and for preventing removal of the at least one helmet accessory from the one or more slots. At least one connection element is provided for connecting the accessory attachment rail to the outer shell.
Hard hat adapter for a welding face member
A system for attaching a welding face member to a hard hat includes a hard hat and an adapter. The adapter is attached to the hard hat. The adapter includes an adapter mating member which attaches to a welding face member. The adapter mating member is located below the hard hat.
Helmet
A helmet having a visor and a method of manufacturing such helmet are disclosed. The helmet comprises a shell dimensioned to receive the head of a user. A visor is moveably attached to the shell, and configurable between (1) a first position in which the visor extends from a forward region of the shell and (2) a second position in which the visor is substantially retracted with respect to the forward region of the shell. It is contemplated that actuation of the movement of the visor between the first position and the second position is automated on placement or removal of the helmet from the head of a user.
Pivot mechanism for a shield for a helmet
Disclosed is a pivot mechanism for a shield for a helmet, the pivot mechanism comprising a curved track having a first end and a second end; and a clamp slidingly engaged to the curved track, wherein the clamp is configured to attach to an end of the shield and slide along the track between a first position proximate to the first end of the curved track and a second position proximate to the second end of the curved track.
Glass for helmet
Glasses for a helmet is configured to rotate a glass member in a state where the glass member is mounted onto the helmet by means of one touch, thereby allowing the glass member to be located in front of a wearer's eyes, and configured to reversely rotate the glass member, thereby opening the front sides of his or her eyes. The glasses for a helmet includes: helmet attachment members fixedly attached to the helmet worn on a wearer's head; glass mounting members separably mounted onto the helmet attachment members by means of one touch; and a glass member adapted to rotate in a state of being rotatably fixed to the glass mounting members in such a manner as to be located in front of the wearer's eyes.
Electronic Motorcycle Helmet
An electronic motorcycle helmet. The electronic motorcycle helmet includes a helmet having an aperture therein that can receive a head therethrough. A visor is disposed on a front side of the helmet and a display is disposed on an interior surface of the visor. A microprocessor, including a logic that receives a command input directed to one of a plurality of subsystems, toggles the subsystem between an activated state and a deactivated state, and displays a status window on the display corresponding to the subsystem. The plurality of subsystems includes a plurality of cameras disposed about the helmet, wherein each of the cameras is operably connected to the display and can apply a low-light filter for low-light conditions. Other subsystems include a wireless transmitter to wirelessly communicate with an external device, a GPS system, and a battery disposed at a lower edge of the rear side.
