A helmet may include: a brain wave detector configured to detect a brain wave of a user; a sound input configured to receive sound; a sound output configured to output sound; and a controller configured to, in response to detecting the brain wave of the user, compare the detected brain wave with a previously stored brain wave, to activate a dialogue mode when the detected brain wave matches the previously stored brain wave, to recognize a speech from the sound received by the sound input, to generate a dialogue speech based on the recognized speech, and to control the sound output so as to output the generated dialogue speech.

Helmet mounted visor

A helmet mounted visor includes a lens that may be configured to extend across substantially all of a user's face. The helmet mounted visor may include a pair of mount arms coupled to the lens and each configured to releaseably mount to a mount attached to a helmet. The pair of mount arms may each including first, second and third portions. The first portion may be rotatably coupled to the second portion about a first axis. The first portion may be rotatably coupled to the third portion about a second axis. The second axis may be generally perpendicular to the first axis. A locking mechanism may be provided and configured to selectively retain the first portion relative to the second portion in and between a use position where the lens is positioned in front of the user's face and a stowage position where the lens is positioned proximate the top of the helmet.

Helmet

A helmet has a helmet shell and a visor pivotally connected to the helmet shell. The helmet further has an electrical device attached to the visor. First and second helmet electrical contacts are attached at both sides of the helmet and are adapted for electrically connecting to an electrical power source. First and second visor electrical contacts are attached to each side of the visor and are electrically connected to the electrical device. The first and second visor electrical contacts are pivotally connected to the helmet shell about first and second pivot axes passing through the first and second helmet electrical contacts respectively. The first and second visor electrical contacts are in contact with the first and second helmet electrical contacts respectively, at all positions of the pivoting visor.

VISOR AND COMBINATION THEREOF WITH A PROTECTIVE HELMET
20190223537 · 2019-07-25 · ·

Visor for a protective helmet, having two retaining arms and two bearing devices for the retaining arms which are attached to a helmet shell of a helmet in order to pivot the visor between two end positions corresponding to an operational position and a parked position in which the visor is folded up and is disposed on the outer surface of the helmet shell. The visor is provided with a soft lip, preferably made from TPU or TPE, at the location where it comes into contact with the helmet shell in the end positions. When the visor is manually activated to pivot out of an end position, the visor is accelerated by resilient pretensioning in the direction of the other end position until the lip is in contact with the helmet shell substantially without recoil. The lip damps the movement momentum of the visor and additionally has a sealing function.
