The present invention provides a protective cover for a baby carrier ring and a set thereof. The protective cover is a pocket formed from a pair of washable shields having at least one fastener. The fabric pockets are conformable around baby carrier rings. Each pocket is removably attachable to a baby carrier ring with the fastener. The washable material of the pocket protects the ring from damage while, for example, washing, drying, storing, and shipping the baby carrier.

A guard that attaches to a buckle included in a safety restraint system. The guard includes a movable cover. In at least one position of the cover, the cover limits access to an external release of the buckle and prevents release of straps from the buckle.

Provided is a tamper guard for a child safety seat. The tamper guard comprises an upper portion configured as a hollow prism or cylinder, and a lower portion connected to the upper portion. The lower portion is comprised of a quadrilateral top face having an opening of similar cross-section to the hollow prism or cylinder, and an integral retainer located below the quadrilateral top face. The lower portion is configured to receive a buckle of the child safety seat within a space defined by the quadrilateral top face and the retainer. The retainer is configured to retain the buckle with in the space. Additionally, the upper portion and the lower portion cooperate to form a continuous opening from a distal opening of the hollow prism or cylinder to the opening of the top face, the continuous opening configured to display and allow access to a quick release mechanism.

A fastener having two strap ends connected by an elastomeric member is described. The elastomeric member has sufficient elasticity to allow a user to increase the distance of separation between the two strap ends by applying a tension force, while providing enough tension to return the two strap ends to close proximity when the user releases the tension force. The elastomeric member may also have an adjustable elasticity to accommodate different applications with different load forces.

A buckle assembly includes a buckle member that is configured to removably connect to a reciprocal buckle member. A retaining guard couples to the buckle member. The retaining guard is configured to reduce a potential of pinching as the buckle member connects to and disconnects from the reciprocal buckle member by providing a barrier where the buckle member and reciprocal buckle member connect.

The slot is formed along a portion of the first closed end and is adapted to allow the passage of a seatbelt tongue as well as resist the passage of other objects or fluids. The second open end is adapted to receive a seatbelt buckle housing.

A cover device adapted to removably cover a portion of a seatbelt buckle is presented herein. The cover device being constructed of a flexible material, the cover device includes a first closed end, slot, and second open end. The slot is formed along a portion of the first closed end and is adapted to allow the passage of a seatbelt tongue as well as resist the passage of other objects or fluids. The second open end is adapted to receive a seatbelt buckle housing.

A seat belt locking device (10) for a child car seat prevents relative movement of a typical automotive seat belt system, thereby maintaining tension upon the seat belt (8A) after the child car seat is installed to the vehicle. The device (10) described herein consists of a body (1) upon which pressure is applied and one or more keels (2) protruding from the body (1) inserted into the motor vehicle seat belt buckle tongue aperture (7) to prevent movement of the webbing strap (8A) through the buckle tongue aperture (7).

A shell element for the buckle cover of a seat belt buckle is disclosed. The shell element comprises a base body made of a hard elastomer and an outer and an inner surface. So that when the buckle cover bears against a further vehicle element with a hard surface, no wear and no undesirable noise is generated and so that the seat belt buckle permanently has attractive visual and haptic properties, a further element made of a soft elastomer is directly connected to the base body and is connected thereto by a material and/or positive connection, said further element forming at least one part of the outer surface of the shell element.
