An attachment for a hair care appliance is provided and can include a nozzle defining a primary air flow path extending between a first air inlet and a first air outlet. The attachment can also include a cover coupled to the nozzle such that the cover and nozzle together define a secondary air flow path between a second air inlet and a second air outlet. The attachment can further include a hollow cylindrical barrel coupled to the nozzle and positioned to receive air flowing out of the first air outlet circumferentially there around. The hollow cylindrical barrel can be configured to direct the first air flow path around at least a portion of the outer circumference of the hollow cylindrical barrel.

A hair dryer, relating to the technical field of home appliances. The hair dryer comprises an air blowing cylinder and a handle. An air blowing assembly and an electronic control PCB sleeved on the air blowing assembly are provided in the air blowing cylinder. The electronic control PCB is electrically connected to the air blowing assembly. The electronic control PCB is located outside a main air channel of the air blowing cylinder. The electronic control PCB is connected to a heat dissipation structure.

Various exemplary attachments for hair care appliances and methods of using attachments for hair care appliances are provided. In general, a hair care attachment in an exemplary embodiment is in the form of a brush accessory that has a hollow body having first and second region, an attachment collar at a first end of the hollow body and having an inlet for receiving airflow, a plurality of bristles positioned along the first region of the hollow body, a plurality of outlet openings positioned along the first region of the hollow body adjacent the plurality of bristles, and a heater assembly positioned along the second region of the hollow body.

A nozzle for attachment to a hair dryer includes a body and an airflow guiding member. The body has an internal surface which defines an airflow duct which extends from an air inlet end for receiving an airflow to a slot-shaped air outlet end of the body. The internal surface has opposing first surface sections which taper inwardly towards the air outlet end, and opposing second surface sections which taper outwardly towards the air outlet end. The airflow guiding member guides a first portion of a received airflow towards one of the second surface sections, and a second portion of the received airflow towards the other of the second surface sections.

A hairdryer including: a handle; a body comprising a duct extending within the body; a fluid flow path extending through the duct from a fluid inlet through which a fluid flow enters the hairdryer to a fluid outlet for emitting the fluid flow from a front end of the body; a primary fluid flow path extending at least partially through the body from a primary fluid inlet through which a primary fluid flow enters the hairdryer to an annular primary fluid outlet at a front end of the body; a fan unit for drawing the primary fluid flow through the primary fluid inlet; and an attachment for adjusting at least one parameter of fluid emitted from the hairdryer, the attachment being attachable to the hairdryer so that the attachment protrudes from the front end of the body, wherein the attachment is configured to inhibit the generation of the fluid flow.

A drying system comprising a glove assembly having a first glove body defining a first glove cavity and a first glove body opening at a first glove body base end that communicates with the first glove cavity; and a second glove body defining a second glove cavity and a second glove body opening at a second glove body base end that communicates with the second glove cavity. The drying system further includes an elongated duct having a first and second duct end and defining a duct cavity extending between the first and second duct ends, the duct further defining first and second duct openings at the respective first and second duct ends, the second duct end coupled to the first glove body base end with the duct cavity communicating with the first glove body.

A blow dryer attachment for vectoring directional flow of an airstream exiting a barrel of a blow dryer. The attachment features at least two body components in an articulated engagement having a central passage which may be curved by such articulation to reposition and exit aperture in a nozzle end opposite a connection to a blow dryer. A flexible coupling may be provided as an interface to connect the device to a broader range of blow dryers. A rotational engagement of the first component to the blow dryer allows for rotation of the exit aperture around the axis of the blow dryer barrel for additional adjustment of the angle and direction or vector angle of the exiting airstream from the attachment.

An attachment for a hand held appliance comprising a body having a first wall; a second wall; and a slot formed along at least part of the length of the attachment, wherein the slot is defined on a first side by a surface of the first wall and on a second side by a surface of the second wall. The first wall may be generally tubular. The surface of the second wall may be substantially linear. The second wall may extend out from the first wall. The second wall may be moveable or rotatable relative to the first wall. The second wall may be generally triangular. The second wall may have a first indexed position defining a first slot position. The second wall may have a second indexed position defining a second slot position. An indexed position may be defined by a detent mechanism.

A support for a hair care appliance, the support comprising a first storage position and at least one further storage position, wherein the first storage position is configured to connect the hair care appliance to the support and the at least one further storage position is configured to connect at least one attachment for changing a property of fluid exiting from the appliance to the support. The support may include a stand portion and a base portion wherein the base portion is designed to sit atop a surface and the stand portion extends from the base portion and includes the first storage position and the at least one further storage position.
