The present invention provides methods and systems for a portable modular drying device that includes a distributing manifold for receiving a blower device that distributes air through the device, and at least one drying manifold having a first end, a second end, and at least one opening between the first end and the second end for distributing the drying air selectively secured to the distributing manifold. The device further includes at least one drying hose or glove tube selectively secured to the at least one opening of the at least one drying manifold.

A root volume nozzle for a hair dryer is equipped at a blow nozzle part of a dryer to increase a volume of the root part of hair. The root volume nozzle may be freely separated from the blow nozzle part to make hair volume while drying the hair, and provide anions to the hair using an anion paint.

A hair care device (B) comprises an ion generator (I), and a grounding protrusion protruding from the hair care device (B). When the hair care device comprises a sensor (MP), and ancillary elements (AE, G) for guiding hair to or along the sensor (MP), the grounding protrusion advantageously includes at least one of the ancillary elements (AE, G).

An attachment for a hair dryer that is movable between a first position and a second position in order to alter one or more characteristics of the airflow therethrough. In one embodiment, an internal sliding element is movable within an outer housing in order to alter the internal flow paths inside the housing. In a second embodiment, movable arms cause changes to the shape of an outer housing made of a flexible and resilient material. Motion of the arms between positions causes a change in the shape of the attachment outlet.

An attachment for a hair dryer that is movable between a first position and a second position in order to alter one or more characteristics of the airflow therethrough. In one embodiment, an attachment having multiple facets and types of projections with varying stiffness are provided on an outer housing that can be rotated relative to a base by the user. A hair styling device for use with an end styling attachment. The hair styling device comprises a housing, and the housing comprises a motor, a fan, a heating element, and an air concentrator. A styling attachment is configured to be removably attached to an end of the air concentrator and the styling attachment comprises a comb and an air diffuser. The comb of the styling attachment may comprise three paired rows of teeth having differing lengths and shapes, and the styling attachment may further comprise temperature and/or proximity sensors therein.
