MULTI-DIRECTIONAL ADJUSTABLE ARMREST PAD AND CHAIR ARMREST DEVICE WITH ARMREST PAD
A multi-directional adjustable armrest pad and a chair armrest device with an armrest pad are disclosed and three embodiments are provided. In an embodiment, the pad body can be adjusted to move in a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction, and rotate relative to the chair armrest, and the pad body can be lifted by controlling a regulating assembly, and the regulating assembly is also rotatable and pivotally swingable, so as to make the armrest pad suit placement of a user's hand when the user sits on the chair.
Armrest and chair
An armrest according to the present invention includes a support member (8a, 215, 308a) which is a support structure, and an armrest main body (8b, 216, 308b), the armrest main body (8b, 216, 308b) includes a lower layer member (8j) including an operation lever (8p, 235, 308p) which is supported by a support member (8a, 215, 308a) to be movable in a forward-and-rearward direction and is operated by a seated person, and an upper layer member (8k) supported by the lower layer member (8j) to be movable in right-and-left direction, and the upper layer member (8k) covers the operation lever (8p, 235, 308p) at a base position in the right-and-left direction.
Telescoping mechanism
In an aspect, provided is an adjustable telescoping assembly. The adjustable telescoping assembly comprises a first support member and a second support member that is slidable upon the first support member and which defines an interior volume. At least one damping element is provided that extends from outside the second support member, through the second support member into the interior volume and engages the first support member.
SEATING ARRANGEMENT
A seating arrangement includes a rigid back frame, a flexible back shell coupled to the back frame and including a pair of vertical side portions and at least two strap portions extending laterally between the side portions and including a forwardly-facing surface configured to support a back of a seated user, the at least two strap portions including a lowermost strap portion, the lowermost strap portion configured to deflect a first distance when a rearwardly-directed force is exerted on the lowermost strap portion by a seated user, and a lumbar assembly supported from the back frame and configured to support the lumbar region of a back of a seated user, the lumbar assembly configured to deflect a second distance when the rearwardly-directed force is exerted on the lumbar assembly by a seated user, wherein the first distance and the second distance are substantially similar.
Seating arrangement
A seating arrangement includes a seat assembly, a control assembly, a back assembly, and a quick-connection arrangement to connect the back assembly to the control assembly, where the back assembly includes first and second reliefs and the control assembly includes first and second shafts received within the first and second reliefs respectively, and a locking arrangement that includes a primary locking member pivotable between a locked position, where the primary locking member abuts the second shaft arrangement, thereby preventing the second shaft arrangement from being removed from within the second relief, and an unlocked position, where the second shaft arrangement may be removed from within the second relief, thereby allowing the back assembly to be uncoupled from the control assembly.
Height adjustment structure of armrest
A height adjustment structure for an armrest contains: an accommodation sleeve for accommodating a fixer and a slider, a cap connected with a support arm, a pedestal, and a pull member. The pull member includes an extension extending out of a first window of the accommodation sleeve so as to pull an engagement protrusion to horizontally remove from or engage into one of multiple recesses of the fixer. The fixer includes a groove and two closed slots. The slider includes an extending lid, a second window, two tabs, a cutout, an elongated orifice, and an abutting protrusion. The pull member includes a receiving orifice, a spring, and a tilted orifice. The engagement protrusion abuts against the cutout and inserts into the one recess, and the engagement protrusion includes a column extending from a side thereof and inserted into the elongated orifice via the tilted orifice.
Angular Position Adjusting Device for a Chair Armrest
An angular position adjusting device includes a coupling column coupled with a chair body. The coupling column includes a top end having a lower coupling face with a receiving groove, a pivotal groove, and at least one restraining groove. The pivotal groove includes a bottom wall having a coupling hole. A positioning block is mounted in the receiving groove and includes a resilient portion having a positioning member. A seat includes a lower end having an upper coupling face with an axle received in the pivotal groove. A fastener extends through the axle and is coupled with the coupling hole of the coupling column. The positioning member is selectively and releasably engaged in one of angularly spaced positioning grooves of the upper coupling face. At least one restraining member is disposed on the upper coupling face and is slidably received in the at least one restraining groove.
