Seat chassis
A seating furniture chassis comprises a seat surface frame, a backrest frame, two armrests, and a drive mechanism. The backrest frame is pivotable about a virtual pivot axis defined by two pivot points, wherein the backrest frame is fastened to the pivot points on the armrests. The drive mechanism is connected to the backrest frame by a translation mechanism. The drive mechanism is designed to trigger a translation of the translation mechanism, wherein the translation is converted into a pivoting movement of the backrest frame about the pivot axis. The backrest frame is connected below the pivot points to the seat surface frame so that during the pivoting movement the seat surface frame is moved translationally. The drive mechanism is arranged below a first lateral edge region of the seat surface frame.
MECHANICAL STRETCHING DEVICE FOR MOVABLE SEAT UNIT AND SEAT UNIT
The present disclosure relates to a mechanical stretching device for a movable seat unit, and a movable seat unit thereof. The mechanical stretching device includes: a linkage support that comprises a support structure configured to support the mechanical stretching device on ground and a linkage structure attachable to a seating portion of the seat unit; a back mechanism that is pivotally connected to the linkage support and is configured to attach to a backrest of the seat unit; and a leg stretching structure including a footrest element, and the leg stretching structure is pivotally connected to the linkage support, and the footrest element is attached to a footrest of the seat unit. The mechanical stretching device is configured to implement a sequential conversion or a reverse sequential conversion of the seat unit from a sitting state to a relaxing state and to a lying state.
Compact adjustable reclining mechanism for a theater seating unit with planar back drop
A compact recliner mechanism for use in theater seating units is provided that allows the seat to move linearly as the seating unit moves from the closed position to the reclined position. The mechanism has a back bracket coupled to the seat plate and base plate with a linkage that moves a projected point representing the top of the back of the seating unit downwardly in vertical plane as the seating unit moves from the closed position to the reclined position. In other aspects, the seating unit has an armrest linkage coupled between the seat plate and the back that maintains an armrest lever at a horizontal orientation. Additionally, in some aspects, the base plate of the seating unit may have an adjustment feature that limits recline of the seating unit, to accommodate theater seating with different riser dimensions, and/or legs with an adjustment feature to level the seating unit on existing theater floors.
RECLINER CHAIR, LOVESEAT, OR SOFA WITH A PROTECTIVE ANTI-TIPPING STRUCTURAL FRAMEWORK
A recliner furniture piece wherein the pair of oppositely disposed side arm sections or frameworks of the furniture piece have their forward end portions extended forwardly beyond the location at which the footrest is disposed when the footrest is located at its fully retracted position, and wherein the pair of oppositely disposed side arm sections or frameworks of the furniture piece have their rearward end portions extended rearwardly beyond the location at which the backrest is attached to the underlying actuator and linkage system. In this manner, the moment arms of the furniture piece are effectively increased while the moment arms of the fully extended footrest and fully reclined backrest are reduced such that the recliner furniture piece can withstand, accommodate, or tolerate increased weights or loads impressed upon the fully extended footrest and/or the fully reclined backrest.
MOVABLE CHAIR DEVICE AND CHAIR ASSEMBLY
A movable chair device and a chair assembly are provided. The movable chair device includes a chair mechanism and a transmission mechanism. The transmission mechanism includes a primary transmission component and an intermediate transmission component. The primary transmission component includes: a fixing member, a first swing arm, a second swing arm and a first linkage member. The first linkage member is enclosed with the first swing arm, the second swing arm and the fixing member to form a closed-loop connecting rod mechanism. The intermediate transmission component includes a first transmission arm, a second transmission arm and a third transmission arm.
RECLINER MECHANISM FOR ELECTRIC ROCKING CHAIR
A recliner mechanism includes a base. Returning spring units are disposed on two sides of the base and rockers are disposed on outer sides of the returning spring units. An extending assembly is disposed at the top of each rocker. A drive unit is arranged between the extending assemblies on the two sides and includes a front driving rod. A reciprocating device is disposed at the middle of the front driving rod and a rear driving rod is disposed at an output end of the reciprocating device. Bent members are fixedly connected to two ends of the rear driving rod. Each bent member is pivotally coupled with a driving member I and the middle of the driving member I is pivotally coupled with a driving member II, with the other ends of the driving member I and the driving member II being pivotally coupled with the extending assemblies.
Wall-proximity furniture member having sync mechanism
A furniture member includes a base assembly, a frame assembly, a legrest mechanism, a support rod, and a sync mechanism. The frame assembly is movable relative to the base assembly among an upright position, a partially reclined position, and a fully reclined position. The legrest mechanism is movable relative to the frame assembly between a retracted position and a fully extended position. The support rod is supported by the frame assembly. The sync mechanism is coupled to and supported by the support rod. The sync mechanism is configured to prevent the frame assembly from moving from the upright position to the partially reclined position until the legrest mechanism reaches the fully extended position.
Furniture Member With Wall-Proximity Mechanism
A furniture member may include a base frame, a seat assembly, a drive rod, a legrest mechanism, and a wall-proximity mechanism. The seat assembly is supported by the base frame and includes a seat frame, a seat bottom, a seatback and a legrest. The legrest is movable relative to the base frame and seat frame between a retracted position and an extended position. The seatback is movable relative to the base frame and seat frame between an upright position and a reclined position. The drive rod is rotatably mounted to the seat frame. The legrest mechanism is attached to the legrest and the seat frame and is driven by the drive rod. The wall-proximity mechanism is connected to the base frame and to the seat assembly and tilts the seat frame rearward relative to the base frame and translates the seat frame forward relative to the base frame.
