Chair frame mechanism and chair having the same
A chair frame mechanism and a chair having the same are provided. The chair frame mechanism includes a movable component, a chair bracket, a leg component, a back component and a sequence component. The movable component is connected with the chair bracket. The leg component and the back component are pivotally connected with the chair bracket, respectively, and the back component is connected with the movable component. The sequence component is connected with the movable component and the chair bracket, respectively, and connected with the leg component and the back component by transmission, respectively. The sequence component is capable of controlling the chair bracket to move relative to the movable component along a preset trajectory, and orderly controlling the leg component and the back component to extend or fold relative to the chair bracket.
Recliner or lift and recliner chair with variable lift profile
A recliner or lift and recliner chair is provided having a recline or lift and recline chair mechanism with preferably with at least one recline or lift-recline actuator that controls a reclining movement or a lifting and reclining movement. The chair mechanism has a recline or lift-recline base, a seat and a back connected thereto. For additional functionality, a cradle assembly is provided in order to provide a cradling movement to the recline or lift-recline base. The cradle assembly includes pivot connections between recline or lift-recline base and the cradle base. A cradle actuator is connected between the cradle base and the recline or lift-recline base. A controller is provided that controls movement of the cradle actuator and preferably at least one recline or lift-recline actuator.
RECLINING SEATING UNIT WITH WALL-PROXIMITY CAPABILITY
A wall-proximity reclining seating unit includes: a frame having a back member and a pair of arms; a backrest; a seat; a footrest; a reclining mechanism connected between the frame, backrest, seat, and footrest, the reclining mechanism configured to move the seating unit between: (a) an upright position, in which the footrest is retracted below a forward portion of the seat; (b) a TV position, in which the backrest substantially maintains its angle, the seat substantially maintains its angle, and the first footrest is disposed in front of the seat; and (c) a fully reclined position, in which the backrest is disposed at a shallower angle, the footrest remains positioned in front of the seat, and the seat is moved forward of its position in the TV position; and a linear actuator comprising an energizing unit, a rail, and a carriage connected with the reclining mechanism.
Reclining seating unit with wall-proximity capability and extendable headrest
A wall-proximity reclining seating unit includes: a frame having a back member and a pair of arms, the back member extending between the arms; a backrest; a seat; a first footrest; and a reclining mechanism connected between the frame, backrest, seat, and first footrest. The reclining mechanism comprises a series of pivotally interconnected links and is configured to move the seating unit between: (a) an upright position, (b) a TV position, in which the first footrest is extended in front of the seat and is generally horizontally disposed, and the seat and backrest are moved forwardly relative to the frame; and (c) a fully reclined position, in which the first footrest remains extended in front of the seat, and the seat is moved forward of its position in the TV position. The seating unit also includes a headrest mechanism attached to the headrest and the backrest, the headrest mechanism configured to move the headrest between a retracted position, in which the headrest is generally horizontally disposed and overlies the backrest and the back member, and an extended position, in which the headrest is generally upright and generally parallel with the backrest.
Mechanical stretching device for movable seat unit and seat unit
The present disclosure relates to a mechanical stretching device for a movable seat unit, and a movable seat unit thereof. The mechanical stretching device includes: a linkage support that comprises a support structure configured to support the mechanical stretching device on ground and a linkage structure attachable to a seating portion of the seat unit; a back mechanism that is pivotally connected to the linkage support and is configured to attach to a backrest of the seat unit; and a leg stretching structure including a footrest element, and the leg stretching structure is pivotally connected to the linkage support, and the footrest element is attached to a footrest of the seat unit. The mechanical stretching device is configured to implement a sequential conversion or a reverse sequential conversion of the seat unit from a sitting state to a relaxing state and to a lying state.

The intermediate transmission component includes three transmission connecting rods. The first transmission connecting rod and the third transmission connecting rod are pivotally connected to the chair component respectively, and ends of the second transmission connecting rod are pivotally connected to the first transmission connecting rod and the third transmission connecting rod respectively. The installation component includes a fixing connecting rod, a first swing arm and a second swing arm. The fixing connecting rod is fixed to a base, ends of the first swing arm are pivotally connected to the first transmission connecting rod and the fixing connecting rod respectively, and ends of the second swing arm are pivotally connected to the third transmission connecting rod and the fixing connecting rod respectively.

Dynamically orientable seating device
An orientable seating device includes a seat, the orientation of which can be controlled to dynamically affect a desired of yaw, pitch and roll. The seating device can be used to reorient and/or to simulate motion for a seated person for use with video games, virtual reality headsets or goggles, land, water, air or space vehicle simulation, or wireless airborne drones, for example. The device includes a seat mounted on a carriage, which is received in a carriage pedestal. Within the pedestal, a drive wheel positioned under the carriage supports and rotates the carriage by driving an outer sphere-shaped surface of the carriage. The drive wheel can be reoriented around a vertical axis such that any combination of pitch and roll can be achieved by rotating the wheel against the sphere-shaped surface. Yaw can be controlled by a rotatable platform upon which the carriage pedestal can be mounted.
Rocker/glider recliner linkage with projected back pivot point
A linkage for use in reclining furniture may include a back bracket supported by forward and rear back pivot links. The bottom of the rear back pivot link may be pivotably coupled to a rear lift link and the bottom of the forward back pivot link may be pivotably coupled to the rear lift link in a different location. A control link may be pivotably coupled on one end to one of the forward back pivot link and the rear back pivot link. The control link may pull the pivoting linkage of the back bracket and the forward and back pivot links as the overall linkage is moved from a closed to a TV to a full-recline position. The resulting pivot point for the back is projected upwardly and forwardly, to a point where an upholstered back and seat meet on a finished chair.
