A device for holding a face mask on a head of a wearer; the device includes a hair accessory, particularly a hair clip; and at least one mask fastener means for attaching a face mask to the hair accessory. The device is unobtrusive and holds the face mask on the head of the wearer such that the hair of the wearer is not disturbed, and the wearer remains comfortable whilst wearing the face mask. The device can also be stored atop the hair accessory.

Disclosed herein is a hair addition for adding volume, texture, and density to the side of a user's head and hairline. The hair addition, in one embodiment, includes two or more wires to which wefts of hair are attached. The hair addition further includes one or more double layer portions of hair and one or more single layer portions of hair. In another embodiment, the hair addition includes one or more wires to which wefts of hair are attached. At least some of the wefts of hair are slidable along the one or more wires. The hair addition further includes elastic cordage connecting to the one or more wires one each end of the one or more wires and an intermediate connector connecting the wires and the elastic cordage.

A hair clip 1 according to the present invention is a hair clip for clipping hair, comprising: a first clip piece 110 and a second clip piece 120, for holding the hair; and a hinge member 130 for connecting the first clip piece 110 with the second clip piece 120 in an openable and closable manner, wherein the first clip piece 110 has a plurality of first teeth of generally V-shape, the plurality of first teeth including a first tooth A 110a and a first tooth B 110b, wherein the second clip piece has a plurality of second teeth of generally V-shape, the plurality of second teeth including a second tooth A 120a and a second tooth B 120b, and wherein the first tooth A 110a is adjacent to the second tooth A 120a, and the first tooth B 110b is adjacent to the second tooth B 120b.

A biodegradable hair ornament is made of a composite material comprising 50-90 wt % of polylactic acid, 5-40 wt % of a toughener, and 5-30 wt % of a nucleating agent. The toughener is selected from the group consisting of polyethylene terephthalate, thermoplastic elastomer ester resin, polyester polyol resin, vinyl ester resin, and combinations thereof. The nucleating agent is selected from the group consisting of calcium carbonate, talc, silicon dioxide, mica, and combinations thereof.

A biodegradable hair ornament is made of a composite material comprising 50-90 wt % of polylactic acid, 5-40 wt % of a toughener, and 5-30 wt % of a nucleating agent. The toughener is selected from the group consisting of polyethylene terephthalate, thermoplastic elastomer ester resin, polyester polyol resin, vinyl ester resin, and combinations thereof. The nucleating agent is selected from the group consisting of calcium carbonate, talc, silicon dioxide, mica, and combinations thereof.
