CHAIR
The present invention relates to a chair which includes a subframe, a seat element, a back element, a spring mechanism and an adjustment device, wherein the spring mechanism includes a leaf spring which is clamped on one side in the subframe and a support which is movable on a track between the leaf spring and the subframe and wherein the adjustment device includes an adjustment member and a transmission mechanism. In this connection, a movement of the adjustment member is translated into a movement of the support at a transmission ratio of between 1:0.5 and 1:4.
Office chair
An office chair comprises a seat element (3) mounted movably on a fixed support element (1) and a back support element (2). The arrangement simultaneously allows the seat element (3) to move and tilt backwards when the user leans backwards. The seat element (3) carries the chair seating panel (4) in such a way that when the user leans to a side, said chair seating panel (4) tilts to the same side according to the user's movement and independently of the chair's back element (2).
Chair
A chair including a subframe, a seat element, a back element, a spring mechanism and an adjustment device. The spring mechanism includes a leaf spring, which is clamped on one side in the subframe, and a support, which is movable on a track between the leaf spring and the subframe. The adjustment device includes an adjustment member and a transmission mechanism. A movement of the adjustment member is translated into a movement of the support at a transmission ratio of between 1:0.5 and 1:4.
LOAD SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A body support structure includes a frame and a membrane attached to the frame. The membrane includes elastomeric filaments. The membrane includes different regions with different stiffness. The membrane may form a part of a seat or a backrest.
Chair
The invention relates to a chair (1) which comprises a support (6), a seat element (5), a back element (4), a leg element (3), a spring mechanism and a weight-controlled working adjusting element for the spring mechanism.
Chair,Particularly Conference or Office Chair, and Method for Manufacturing a Chair
A chair, such as a conference or office chair, includes a seat support; a backrest support; a storage member formed as a force storage element; and a transmission coupling the seat support with the backrest support which allows a pivoting of the backrest support and the seat support between an upright position and a backwardly pivoted position according to a predetermined sequence of movements. The force storage element is coupled with the seat support and the backrest support such that the predetermined sequence of movements is facilitated and the storage member provides a force restoring in the upright position and wherein the flexibly elastic storage member forms in conjunction at least with a first articulated rotation point of the transmission a kinematic chain.
SYNCHRONOUS CHAIR MECHANISM AND CHAIR HAVING SAME
A synchronous chair mechanism (10) for simultaneously changing a seat and a backrest of a chair from a zero position in which the backrest is tilted to a minimum extent relative to the seat, into an end position in which the backrest is tilted to a maximum extent relative to the seat, includes a base (20) that is connectable to a substructure provided for setting up the chair. The synchronous chair mechanism also includes a backrest carrier (30) on which the backrest is mountable, a seat support (40) that is designed for holding a seat, and a spring element (8) having a front end and a rear end. The backrest carrier (30) is mounted on the base (20) so as to be pivotable about a first rotational axis (710). The seat support (40) is connected to the backrest carrier (30) so as to articulate about a second rotational axis (720), and is connected to the front end of the spring element (80) so as to articulate about a third rotational axis (730). The rear end of the spring element (80) is hinged to the backrest carrier (30) via a fourth rotational axis (740). A latching structure (310) is formed on the backrest carrier (30). The synchronous chair mechanism (10) includes a slide coupling piece (60) that is mounted on the rear end of the spring element (80) so as to be pivotable about the fourth rotational axis (740). Outside the zero position of the synchronous chair mechanism (10), the slide coupling piece (60) engages with the latching structure (310) of the backrest carrier (3; 30) so that the slide coupling piece (60) and the backrest carrier (30) are fixedly connected to one another. In the zero position of the synchronous chair mechanism (10), the slide coupling piece (60) is decoupled from the latching structure (310) of the backrest carrier (30) so that the slide coupling piece (60) is movable relative to the latching structure (310), as the result of which a distance between the fourth rotational axis (740) and the first rotational axis (710) is changeable.
Mechanical assembly for a chair and chair with such a mechanical assembly
The invention relates to a mechanical assembly (2), said mechanical assembly (2) comprising, in addition to a leaf spring, at least one further spring element, the elastic restoring force of the at least one further spring element and the elastic restoring force of the one or more leaf springs supporting the seat shell (S) with a total restoring force, and/or the mechanical assembly (2) comprising at least two leaf springs and at least two supports, each support being associated with one of the leaf springs, and at least two supports being displaceable beneath the leaf springs by means of an adjustment mechanism and being displaceable on their trajectories by different extents.
Chair and Components
A chair support shell has an integral back portion, seat portion, and joining portion between the back portion and the seat portion. At least a major portion of the support shell comprises a compliant structure, the compliant structure having a plurality of cells interconnected by a plurality of resilient members. The compliant structure provides compliance in the seat portion, compliance in the back portion, and compliance in the joining portion. The compliant structure enables recline of the back portion relative to the seat portion.
