A remotely controlled powered chair may include a support frame, a seat pivotally mounted on the support frame, an rotary actuator mounted between the support frame and the seat to drive the seat to move relative to the support frame, a backrest pivotally mounted on the seat, and a linear actuator mounted between the seat and the backrest to drive the backrest to move relative to the seat. Thus, the rotary actuator may be controlled by an electrically control device to drive the seat to pivot relative to the support frame reciprocally in a pendulum manner so that the seat is pivoted relative to the support frame automatically. In addition, the linear actuator may be controlled by the electrically control device to adjust the inclined angle of the backrest so as to provide a comfortable sensation to the user.

A powered chair comprises a chair framework, which includes a pair of oppositely disposed armrests, a chair seat frame which is fixedly connected to the pair of armrests, a footrest, a backrest, a first linear actuator mounted upon the pair of armrests and operatively connected to the footrest, and a second linear actuator mounted upon the armrests and operatively connected to the backrest. When the first and second linear actuators are actuated, they can respectfully actuate or move the footrest and backrest, however, in view of the fact that the first and second linear actuators are not operatively connected to the chair seat frame, and in view of the additional fact that the chair seat frame is fixedly mounted upon the pair of armrests, the chair seat frame will remain stationary despite movements of the footrest and backrest, to any one of their multiple positions, as a result of the actuation of the first and second linear actuators.

The backrest engages with the seat so as to be independently reclinable with respect to the seat, and is detachable from the seat and/or foldable onto the upper side of the seat so as to lie substantially flat therewith. The stand assembly comprises seat engagement means (51) for releasably engaging with the underside of the seat, hydraulic height adjustment (means 53) for hydraulically raising and lowering the height of the seat and backrest assembly in use, and legs (56) which are foldable between an extended position in which the legs extend laterally from the stand assembly to support the treatment chair in use, and a folded position in which they lie against or adjacent the hydraulic height adjustment means.

The said motor connecting tube is fastened on a linkage part of the mechanical stretching apparatus. The said first rotor shaft and the second rotor shaft are both a bolt. By changing the electronic driving device, the invention increases automaticity and comfort of the convertible sofa, and improves installation, removal, maintenance, and operation efficiency of an electric actuator of the convertible sofa.

Described and represented is a swivel fitting of seating furniture for adjusting a foot part from a retracted non-use position to an extended use position, with a mounting section for mounting on a chassis of the seating furniture, with a foot part section for mounting the foot part, with a foot part fitting for adjusting the foot part, wherein the foot part section has a front foot part connection swivel region in the use position and a rear foot part connection swivel region in the non-use position and a rear foot part connection tilt region in the use position and a front foot part connection tilt region in the non-use position, and wherein the foot part connection swivel region and the foot part connection tilt region are held via an adjusting lever and a control lever of the foot part fitting and are adjustable relative to one another. In order to better take into account the requirements placed on seating furniture and at the same time to manufacture the swivel fitting quite cost-effectively and use it reliably, it is provided that, during the entire adjustment from the non-use position to the use position and back, the adjusting lever and the control lever are arranged extending adjacent to one another in a common longitudinal section, which extends at least over 20 cm in the longitudinal direction of the swivel fitting, in a direction at least substantially perpendicular to the adjusting lever and/or to the control lever, in that the longitudinal section in the use position is arranged in front of the foot part connection tilt region in the non-use position and in that in the longitudinal section, the longitudinal extension of the adjusting lever is inclined by less than 15 with respect to the longitudinal extension of the control lever.
